Nol felt her heart drop watching the two curl up together. She huffed, walking over to Lumine and plucking her off of Crane. "I'm taking Lumine with me to go gather some herbs. I'll be back in a bit." She placed Lumine on her back and walked to the cave exit.

"I can go with you. There's safety in number. Plus I can help to find and carry whatever we get." Crane stood and tetched before walking over to Nol.

"Bye, bye mama Storm. I'll bring you back a flower. It's gonna be just as pretty as you, I promise!" Lumine giggled and wiggled around on Nol's back.

storm lifted her head ''byee!'' she said a bit more cheerfully before going back to her conversation in her brain but part of her brain noticed crane go with nol better not turn into another soren she thought moving a bit away from mystic and curled into a ball ooo cool wolf who may be a murderer cliff thought your doing the oppisite of helping cliff shush storm thought 		Ghost of the lost wolf

Nol, Crane, and Lumine head out. It wasn't long till they hand gather enough herbs to last a long time. Nol seemed happy to have have everything but at the same time it was clear that she was flinching as she walked.

Crane chatted with Lumine on he way back and Lumine was giggling he whole way back.

(I AM SO SORRY! I have been really overwhelmed lately and forgot to reply!)

As the approached the cave Lumine jumped off of Crane's back and darted to the entrance. "Mama!" He wiggled happily up to Storm and nuzzled her softly.

Crane pushed before going in and stopped Nol. "Hey. Um, I know this may be a bit personal but…are you and Storm mates? And why do you seem so distant from each other?" He had set his bundle down and looked genuinely concerned.

Nol hesitated for a moment then sighed and shook her head. "I don't know what we are a anymore. We've been through so much together yet we have also had many arguments and separations. It's just so difficult to stay happy when we are with each other now." A sad and desperate look formed in her eyes. "But I do love her. She is my everything. I left my pack to be with her and now I have Lumine and I have taken her in as my daughter. If Storm were to leave or…" She looked to between River and Mystic. "…find someone else, I would fall apart and I would more than likely not be able to take the hit."

Storm smiled for a moment at lumine "hello silly" she chuckled then looked at nol but looked away after a moment ear twitching as she turned back to lumine " how are u doing now?" She said not sure what else to say

Lumine smiled brightly and her tail flicked back and forth in excitement and joy. "I'm so happy now that I'm with you and mama Nol." She started purring and rubbing against Storm's chin. "I do miss my real mama and papa though…and the mountain lions. They were so nice." She looked a bit sadder and curled her tail around her body, snuggling into a ball.

Crane nodded and walked forward, giving Nol a gentle nuzzle and lick on the head. "She's not going anywhere. She won't leave if she feels the same as you." He smiled and wagged his tail. "And as for Lumine, she has so many new friends and and family to protect her. Even if you were to separate from Storm I'm sure she would be okay after some time. She'd still have me and you after all."

Storm flicked an ear "yes my mother knows how to care for her cubs even those not like her" she said and curled around her "I'm sure your parents loved u very much and are happy u found a great home" she said laying her head next to lumines "and i don't plan on leaving anytime soon so u should have me for a long time" she said watching lumine with one eye and I won't let cliff or shifter ever hurt u or nol! she thought slightly angry 		Ghost of the lost wolf

Nol felt relief flood over her. "Thanks. I needed to hear that." She smiled faintly up at Crane before turning to look at Storm and Lumine. "I love them to death. What they don't understand is that I'd give my life to make sure they can live safely." In her eyes a look of pain glimmered, but within that pain was the burning passion of a lover and mother.

Crane chuckled softly and gave Nol and soft playful swat with his paw. "Don't say that. We are in this together now. Which means all of our safety matters." He walked into the cave and sat down on the other side of Lumine.

Nol nodded and walked to Storm. She sat down and nuzzled her. "Hey…you know I love you right? And you too." She nudged Lumine with her nose.

Storm paused and looked at nol "I love u to" she said quietly but moved away when crane came over with a sigh she looked at nol for a moment and put her head next to nols "sometimes I just worry if I good enough for u" she said quietly and put her head down her wings were mostly black but a few feathers were dark blue and some others were a very soft pink 		Ghost of the lost wolf
