Born in the cold bellows of the moonlight, Srusti always looked at the carvings that marked the burrow walls. Studying at the pictures of fantastical leads and magnificent creatures. Whenever she asked about the carvings to her Pupsitters, they always told her the stories. Of the dangerous wraths of other gods and the leads that made their pack safe. But when Srusti asked about the makings of the pack, she was ignored. Confused she would often sneak out of the Pupsitter's Burrow and look at the carvings that were held at other burrows. Not one of them held the creation of the pack. All of them lead down to a singular horned lead. She wanted to know the truth and write about it. Even if it all sounded like stories.
Kauri has always liked reading, whether it be at The Great Library or the carvings on the walls her older sister had always showed her. Some days her sister, Srusti, would always sneak her out of the Pupsitter's Burrow to spend time in the library. There she could read as much s she could. For all the books that were stored there, history was always the more confusing topic. Stories didn't have a clear timeline and Kauri had spent her entire pup life figuring out times of events. 'When I grow up.' Kauri thought. 'When I grow up I'll organize this mess and it would be truthful. Based on already written books. No outside sources.' |
