By opening writing commissions! You can start by posting about opening commissions on this forum (this is for anything related to writing/poetry only). Try advertising yourself through the chat sales.

Example Advertisement:
🖊 Taking writing commissions! *500 words for *250SC [insert link to post].

*I'm no specialist in pricing nor had I ever opened commissions. Please ask other people that are open to writing commissions for pricing advice.

You'll also need references for the potential customer. They don't know if it's up to their expectations, so whip up some short stories and place them inside your post (please also include how much you charge per amount of words)!

If you have any problems, try referencing commission posts from writers or maybe even artists. Perhaps that'll help you understand better. Good luck.
