Anise blushed in embarrassment. She hadn't meant for him to hear that. "Oh. Well… that subjective, isn't it?" She looked away awkwardly. "But thank you." She glanced at the sky for a moment. "I guess… we should go… I mean, there isn't much to do here." Anise tilted her head at Aloe. "So… I was planning to go back towards the heat that way— the desert and jungle packs really need this antidote Cece taught me… but then again, it's been a really long time since I visited the cold biome packs… and they're always suffering from some form of illness or another. I guess it's up to you?" |

Though Setting Suns was a wolf, running wasn't something he favoured. That is why he took on the role of a scout, 'cause he liked to take things slow and steady. Instead, he was being chased around by coyotes. He didn't have the best agility either, so weaving through the trees wasn't an easy task for him. He briefly looked back, only to see six coyotes left instead of the eight that were chasing him before. He turned on them with a snarl, and that is when the coyotes finally scattered after realizing they lost too many members. Setting Suns flopped down on his belly, panting. "She just had to pick me and not the stronger scouts." He'd grumble a little, standing back up. That is when he froze upon seeing a wolf not too far away. It took one whiff of the air to realize he had run straight into pack territory. "Oh no..." Cave Crawler (NPC) - Grasslands // Galactic Ones Territory Cece left the cave, dipping her head at Anise and Aloe. She then walked off somewhere else in the tree cluster the pack made home in. She crawled into a small burrow. Only four wolves lived here, and mainly scouts have come and gone from this den. "Good morning Nova, Marsh." She dipped her head at the two wolves. Her uncle, Marsh, happily walked up to greet her, while Nova sat in awkward silence. Nova and Cece haven't been on the best terms ever since that day a few months back in spring. "Hey uncle, have you seen Setting Suns anywhere?" Marsh shook his head in response. He wasn't much of a talker, but he said the most around family members. "I think he was sent off scouting?" He didn't sound too sure of himself, but Cece just nodded. "I'll check back later then." She sighed, walking off. |

Aloe nodded. "Yeah we should get going" He said frowning slightly, deep in thought. "As for our route..." He sighed and scratched a small map of the land. He scratched a path on it ass he spoke. "I suppose we could head south and help the dessert and rainforest" He continued thoughtfully, tracing their path with his claw. "Then we could curve around and travel north through the mountains to get to the tundra and the glaciers." He finished. |

"Alright then!" Anise chirped. Quickly making a water-bowl compass and then getting rid of it, she nodded south. "Let's go, unless there's something you need to get?" She tucked everything into her bag, mentally making sure she had everything and then going over each recipe in her mind again. This was a ritual she did several times each day, to make sure she never forgot a recipe, herb, or pack. Listing everything she knew until they had worn familiar grooves in her brain. Today, she had a few new things to add. |

"Well... I should go grab some pouches to carry stuff." He said swiftly, eager to go. It will only take a moment though." He said as he used his tail to erase the map he drew, then trotted off to the cave he lived in. Aloe stepped through the curtain and darted around grabbing things necessary such as around 5 pouches, plus a pouch for water. He grabbed a few small, wooden, owl - made bottles that contained various medicines, plenty of bark to write his brother with, then made sure Twitch was securely between his ears before running back to Anise. "Off we go!" He said and started trotting south. Kava - Grasslands // Galactic Ones Territory Kava watched silently as his brother headed south on his expedition with that she - wolf from the cave. Should I follow them? He wondered briefly before deciding against it. He had his own problems to deal with. He need not worry about Aloe's problems or trips too. Besides, he could still keep in contact with his brother with their birds. |

Soon they were walking in silence, Anise's social energy depleted. She took the time to watch the clouds streaking past in the sky. But it was hard for her to stay quiet for long without the memories haunting her. Wolves dying in her grasp, coughing and hacking as they pleaded with her to keep their families alive, pups crying for their dead mothers, mothers crying for their dead pups. Failure upon failure, piling up, all the wolves she wasn't able to save. The weight dragged her down as her steps became heavier. Anise took a break for a moment to drink from a small stream before nodding to Aloe. |

They were walking in silence when Aloe sensed Anise tense up. He lapped up some water from the stream and looked at her. There was sadness in her eyes. There was pain. And agony. Aloe tried to be comforting and gently brushed his shoulder against hers. He whistled softly, and with worry. Should I sk her if she's okay? He wondered. He had no idea if asking would make her feel worse or better. Aloe hesitated slightly before speaking. "Are.. are you okay?" He whispered concerned about her. |

"Oh..." Anise said softly. She supposed she was rather obvious, her emotions plastered all over her face for everyone to see. It had been something she'd disliked about herself for a long time now. "I'm... I'm alright. Just some memories. Comes with being a healer, I guess. You see a lot of death." |

When the coyotes finally scattered Ash watched the new wolf warily, unsure what to think of him. She kept one eye on him then turn to look at her wounds, only slight skinning's was all she had received, after reassuring herself she looked up at the New Wolf and said in a weak voice "You need to leave this Territory..." she coughed several times before she could add "There's a nasty Influenza sweeping through here..." |
