Humans extinct in the world of wolvden?

Humans extinct in the world of wolvden?

I've been thinking and revisiting the lore of Wolves of the Beyond (from the same author as Guardians of Ga'Hoole) and how it is canon that humans went extinct and arguably because of that, animals have begun to form more and more complex societies. I think it's possible that in the wolvden universe, magic as in the Coigreech event and Lunar events has begun to come back to the world and wolves are starting to form more complex societies and looks. Thoughts?

Hmm, maybe. But how about that dialogue on Explore, the rumbling under the earth? Maybe that is humans?

The rumbling under the earth could also be a small earthquake, which would also stress out wolves. Or its a beast yet undiscovered...............

Aren't there human encounters during the cryptid event? I've also had pups die to humans, with the death description reading:
"[Puppy] was found dead a few miles from your territory with a very deep, large wound in her side. The area smells strongly of humans — she must have disturbed a pack of humans and couldn't get away in time."

Huh, I haven't seen that. But, also, with humans being seen during the cryptid event, maybe they're more like cryptids in universe?

There is more evidence disproving this theory:
Sometimes you find human camps
There is a hunter enemy
