Guess the Animal!
Posted 2022-12-04 06:48:11 (edited)
Here's a new game I just made up! One player will start by giving three clues about an animal. Ex. This animal lives in North america, is a carnivore, and looks like a dog. The person under them will guess. Ex. The animal is a wolf
Then, the first person can edit their post to tell if the person under Them was correct.
Then, the second person will give three clues themselves. Make sure the clues are easy to understand!

Starter clues:
This animal lives in parts of North America and Europe.
It has antlers.
It is associated with Christmas.

Answer: yes, it's a reindeer!
Also yes, put the clues in your reply

Had to cheat and use google. Komodo dragon, right?
Feeling kinda silly now. It is now deep in my brain and I will never forget that komodo dragons live in part on an island called Komodo and that they are venomous and from Indonesia.

ack I'm having such a hard time choosing XD so many animals running around in my brain. Desperately resisting the urge to choose a stupidly obscure animal
I sorta succeeded and sorta failed. I hope I didn't make it too hard

- This animal is one of the main predators of moose
- It is black and white
-  It is found in all oceans

Answer:
Yup! An orca!
Interesting fact: moose have so few natural predators (bears, wolves and humans) Moose often dive down to the bottom of rivers and lakes to eat plants, meaning that, occasionally, an unlucky moose will encounter an orca. The fun part is that the "occasionally" is often enough to make the list.

Is it an orca/ killer whale?
That's what pops up in my mind for black and white aquatic animal. I've never heard of them killing moose before though.

My first thought was a fish of some kind, like caelacanth, but they most definitely do NOT come out of the water. Axolotls?

Really good guess! Axolotls and salamanders also have huge genomes.

Here's the answer It was a lungfish
