Need some help with CSS coding

But I've been doing my own CSS stuff for a while now and there are still things I really can't seem to figure out, especially with Lioden and Wolvden having differences in terms of coding for den layouts. So I was wondering if anyone could perhaps help me figure out a few things. 1. I can't seem to figure out how to change the shape of the lead wolf and featured wolf pictures 2. I figured out a color change when hovering over text that links somewhere, but I can't seem to figure out how to make it have this slight glow when hovering over it.
