Sheep's Writing Den

Are you looking for a little lore? Perhaps a fun description? Maybe just a friendly message? Welcome to my writing den then!

Please note that I'm no professional, I'm only a hobbyist. Due to this, I don't expect a lot of payment. As the customer, you're free to pay whatever you'd like so long as you heed the minimum amount. Tips are welcome, but never feel obligated please!

I'm happy to take items and wolves if requested, though do note that I may be picky with the wolves.

Small Piece (1-2 Paragraphs) - 100 SB Minimum
High above the ocean's rolling waves, Bouvardia stood facing Horra. Tufts of fur were ripped from her skin, laying pathetically on the ground between the two wolves. Her chest heaved with effort as she gasped for air. She was struggling.

Horra looked just as bad as Bouvardia felt. With teeth having been knocked out of their mouth, blood dripped down, speckling their paws and ground. Their eyes were crazed, their nostrils flared. It was clear the other wolf was tired of fighting; it was time to end it. They stepped forwards slowly, waiting, watching. Bouvardia took a step back. She could hear the waves reaching up to the cliff's edge. It wanted blood, just as Horra. It was desperate for it.
Lii had never been a strong wolf. No, his scrawny frame was more suited to being the rear of every joke made in the pack. Many moons ago, perhaps he could have been a proper hunter. Maybe he could have trained with the other pups instead of sitting alone in the den with his beetles and butterflies. He might have instead grown large and strong with rippling muscles and a roguish grin. But that was not his fate. No, Lii was meant to be a background character. He was raised to support the others, the stars of the pack, and he filled his role well. He had to, lest the spotlight decide to shine on him in his moment of humiliation and shame.

Intermediate Piece (3-4 Paragraphs) - 500 SB Minimum
Vox and Nala, a pair of rambunctious siblings, tumbled around the clearing in play. A paw stabbed an eye, a limb went flying, mouths clashed in a fake battle of alphas. Dust and dirt caked the youngsters' pelts as they rolled, frightening beetles and ants that scattered as the two ran.

"Vox!" Nala yapped, looking back to her brother. Being the slower of the two, it wasn't uncommon to see the rather fox-like pup trailing behind his sister, determination in his eye. One day he'd catch up, he often said, one day. "Nala!" He cried back, extending his paws ahead of his pudgy body.

The pair crashed into a tall male, tumbling over one another with surprised yips. Scrambling to pick themselves up, the pair realized that it was their father. The intimidating male gave a low chuckle and leaned down, pushing the pair over in jest. "My warriors," he said, "are you killing one another?"

"Yes!" Vox said, climbing atop Nala. The female snapped gently at his paws, not truly upset. "I was just about to kill her, but she got away," he explained. Their father gave a nod and huffed, amusement dancing in his eyes. "You know, Vox," their father began "you should never let your prey get away. You always need to finish the job." And with that he tackled both pups, licking their snouts. Giggles erupted from the pups, paws flailing in the air, battering the male's face. "Mercy!" they cried, "Mercy!"

Large Piece (5+ Paragraphs) - 1000 SB Minimum
The forest was peaceful in the evening. The evening's sun rays shone through the leaf canopy above, dappling the greenery far below. Timir lay beneath a large oak, his rich blue eyes watching a large apprentice bound around. The older male gave a huff as the youngling, a male by the name of Appa, stumbled too close to his face.

"Appa," Timir spoke in a deep, bellowing voice, "calm yourself. You've spent the last hour spinning. Why not rest for a moment? Enjoy the sun as it is still in the sky. We'll have to continue soon if we are to get back to the pack before dark."

Appa looked to his mentor, shaking his head. A large smile displayed his teeth, bits of leaves sticking out between the gaps. "Timir, can't you see? It's beautiful out here! I don't want to go back. I want to stay here forever." As if to prove his point, the youngster spun around one more time, his tail wagging wildly behind him all the while. "Please join me?" he begged, lowing the front of his body in a play bow. "Please Timir? Just for a little longer?"

The scout exhaled, thinking. On one paw, it wouldn't be good to stay out after dark. Pups had begun going missing late at night, and Shepard had warned him that it may become adults as well. On the other hand, it was a nice evening, and he hadn't truly relaxed in quite some time... Defeated, he gave a nod to Appa and watching the young male dance around. "Just a little longer," he said, sitting up to stretch his neck and back upwards. Squinting through the leaves, Timir could see the orange sky speckled with faint stars. It was gorgeous, he thought to himself, as gorgeous as it had ever been.

Suddenly, a heavy weight lay itself atop the scout. Grunting in surprise, Timir looked up to see Appa. Drool dripped from his jaws, his eyes glowing with delight. "I got you!" he declared, body wiggling atop his mentor. Deciding to prove him wrong, Timir lifted himself up suddenly, knocking the youngling to the ground. He gave a low chuckle and shook his head. "What a fool," he hummed to himself, affection clear in his voice. The scout began walking off, leaving the apprentice behind to scramble after him, yelling some nonsensical argument.
