You find yourself wandering through a lush forest teeming with rich flora and fauna, a cool breeze whispering lazily through the treetops. You prick your ears forward at the sound of running water carried to you by the wind; curious, feeling almost drawn to the anomaly, you make your way toward the noise.

Breaking through the tree line, you come upon the most beautiful crystal clear pool you've ever seen, with a babbling waterfall spewing life into it—so perfect that even your breath is taken for a few moments. As you approach the water's edge, you notice thousands of glittering multicolored objects under the surface, settled at the bottom. You're entranced by the way they reflect the dying sunlight as dusk begins to blanket the land, pondering what the strange pieces could be. It dawns on you that they must be precious gemstones! Yes, that's it, gemstones.

After admiring the simplistic beauty of the landscape around you for a time, you decide you're thirsty; what luck you have. You run your tongue across your maw in anticipation of possibly the greatest sip of refreshment known to any cat, crouching over the pool's edge. You bend your head down and close your eyes, lapping at the crisp, cool water in a luxurious manor. Suddenly, everything changes. The world begins to melt away around you, morphing from the clearing and waterfall into a large grove. The ground swirls away from you, hardening into cool stone beneath your paws.

Stunned, you look around in a mix of horror and confusion, realizing you are standing atop a tumble of large boulders. Below you, absolute chaos rages as dozens of cats screech and tumble in the throes of battle. Mingled scents and sounds assault your senses, and you feel great despair for the felines you helplessly observe. You take notice of one cat standing alone in the midst of the fray, seemingly untouched by the attacks his peers initiate around him. His fur is the darkest obsidian, though you realize it glistens with tiny pinpoints of light, making his pelt appear as if it is the night sky itself. His icy blue luminaries pierce the deepest parts of your soul as he meets your gaze, a pleading expression painted upon his features. "I am Night, the beginning. Traveler… you must come. You must help us. Our saviors will rise, but they are powerless now. It's up to you… you must save us now."

His gaze continues to bore into your own, and a shiver courses through your body at his words. Slowly, the world began to shift once again, and you hear the old cat begin to speak once more. "When Silverpelt cries, the Dawn will rise and wake the Dusk, and only when Twilight walks the line of the horizon will the tranquil sun finally set…" His words echo ominously in your mind as your reality is returned. Will you save them?
