Welcome to Clansgiving!
Hosted by Kle #1686. Thank you all for your support!

Guidelines and Information

  1. All Wolvden rules and clan rules apply.

  2. This is an RP Thanksgiving thread for Traveler's Guide to Wolvden clan members only.

  3. You may have a maximum of 2 representatives for the feast.

  4. If you wish to "bring" something to the feast, you can do so by donating it to the clan hoard or bank. This is not required to attend, but it is much appreciated!

  5. Please always include your representatives' names in your comments.

  6. Check out the character sheets linked here for a list of representatives for each pack! Character sheets are not required but are encouraged. This is so everyone can see who they're interacting with in the feast.

  7. There is no plot to this thread. This is just for everyone to have fun and enjoy a Thanksgiving. If you wish to include small snippets of plot from your prides or traveler stories, please feel free! Just remember that it is not the main theme for the feast.

  8. Have fun! We did this for everyone to enjoy their holiday since we know some of us won't be able to be with family this year. We want you all to have a good time feasting with each other.

  9. This thread will remain open from Thursday, 11/24 to Saturday, 12/3.

Clan Thanksgiving RP Starter

Setting:

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Kveta glanced back at the red wolf, her companion's orange eyes reflecting her concern for the healer. "They are not known for liking outsiders," the red wolf added to her point.

Kveta looked back at the place she had decided to host a gathering feast. The gathering for the feast was in a grassy clearing along the Silent River, known for its importance and near quiet ripple through the River Mountains. This river is not always the largest in the mountains; rather, it flows from wide to narrow, from crowded to flowing freely. For these reasons, the river is considered much like life, for life itself is not always easy. It was the main river of the mountains, a source of life and energy for the two packs who lived near it. But down here near the end of the river, there were no claims to the territory. The neutrality of the clearing gave peace for the feast, ensuring all who attended that there would be no conflict during the festivities.

Kveta's eyes roamed the clearing, checking the stock of food and herbs with a mental checklist. She had hoped those from other packs would join with their own food offerings, as it was always a good starting topic to learn more about another. "They have accepted already," the healer replied. "Besides, I chose the Silent River Pack for this reason. They are more likely to be friendly than the Broken Ridge Pack."

The red wolf snorted her agreement, a flicker of disdain- and perhaps disappointment- at the facts. "I will leave you to it then. I wish you luck, Kveta. Know you can find me should you need my help."

Kveta moved closer to touch her nose to her friend's shoulder. "Thank you Konesans. Now, go back to your pups. I do not need them to crash in here and ruin my plans." Konesans chuffed at that before returning the affectionate gesture. With one final look at her friend, the red wolf disappeared into the forest that bordered the clearing. Kveta turned back to the clearing, walking the border before she heard the snap of a twig. Her eyes lifted in time to see a pretty red, white, and black wolf come into the clearing with a rabbit in her jaw. "Koyr," Kveta greeted the second of the Silent River Pack with a nod. "Welcome."

Koyr dropped the rabbit in one of the piles, her ice blue eyes scanning the clearing before landing on the healer. "Kveta. Rabia sends her regards and regrets. She hopes my presence alone tells of her confidence in your abilities and knowledge."

Kveta resisted a chuckle at that, instead flicking her ears to the side as she heard more twigs snapping in the distance. "I thank you both for agreeing to this. May it end how I wish." The healer then turned to dip her head in greeting to the approaching wolves. The feast had begun.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sage saw he was one of the first wolves here, along with Baskerville. He felt a bit award at being one of the first other then the wolves that hosted it. But he was still looking forward to it, and Bakerville was also excited. "Sage, i am so excited to meet the other packs.. we don't see much of them." Sage nodded at the young wolf. "This is a chance for us to get to know the other packs."
