Seeking a long-term roleplay partner! OPEN!

Hello!

This is currently closed, but I may open it back up eventually so if you're interested, I recommend saving or subscribing and I'll notify when I'm available again :))

I am looking for someone to do a long-term roleplay with. I rather one long roleplay, but if we get bored of said roleplay, I am happy to keep trying new ones, new environments ect. I am happy to have a longterm roleplay partner over a longterm roleplay presuming our writing styles work well together. I have been roleplaying for many years on and off, but have been wanting to find a new partner to continue writing with as I haven't in a while. I adore world-building and story-building, I tend to overwrite my worlds so I prefer someone who is tolerant of it or even overwrites as well. I mostly have experience in 'old-world' writings, I have done multiple Red Dead Redemption related roleplays, and I have done Assassins Creed roleplays that I have enjoyed but I do not know enough for a fully fledged roleplay without guidance.

A bit about myself:

I am 19, and I am Australian. I prefer to go by Jay, and he/him and they/them pronouns. My timezone might not line up super well, but I usually do more 'relaxed' reply periods, so maybe 6 replies a day up to 1-2 replies every few days depending on what I am capable of, it can be more often than that as well. You are welcome to bump your reply if you want me to hurry up haha. It also just gives me more time to structure a good response. I work 4 days a week, so I am not always available to reply right away. I work with birds for a living, and I am more than happy to give bird pics! :))

What I am interested in:

- apocalyptic settings; this can be zombie settings, or any form of 'end of the world' settings.
- fantasy; this can be dragons, magic, whatever, my only restriction on this is that it must be consistent.
- historical based. While I am not the most educated, I adore writing in early 1800s and earlier.
- I am willing to try wolf related given this website, but it has been many many years since I last did one.

I also enjoy the settings of these game/movie environments;

- How To Train Your Dragon
- The Last Of Us
- Red Dead Redemption
- Assassin's Creed

I specifically like these environments and I don't like roleplaying as characters from them, as I have never been able to perfectly capture a characters personality. I like building our own OCs and putting them in said world, we can follow a similar storyline as well if desired.

I am currently very interested in doing a RDR2 based RP. Someone with RDR2 or even better RDRO is ideal to scope out areas for better story-telling, but I am happy to compromise; knowledge of the game and the setting and lore of the world is just much more ideal.

What I am okay with:

- Roleplaying multiple characters at once - I rather one main each but I can do two or more, + happy to do NPCs.
- gore, I have absolutely no issue's with detailed gore.
- violence, I am not an expert in fighting 'moves' but I am perfectly fine with it.
- NSFW, sometimes I can be uncomfortable, but we can discuss that at said event in roleplay, I will always attempt it and I will just let you know as we go.
- touchy subjects, I won't clarify this here publicly, but I rather only add really personal subjects in if it's really useful for the plot.

Preferences:

- Must be over 18 - sorry, I just don't feel comfortable with anyone under 18, especially if the story goes in any particular directions.
- I prefer writing human/humanoid but I will do animals ( used to be a warriors fan, I have done many cat rps ). I've never done furries, I prefer not to.
- No one-liners, I prefer long replies. Unless it's an actively on-going conversation, I rather decent lengths, 1-2 paragraphs or more ideally, but it does all come down to the specific situation.
- 3rd person, and in a novel-like writing fashion.
- No god-like characters and no mary sues. Your characters cannot be unstoppable, or perfect.
- I prefer those who are eloquent writers but I am more than happy if English isn't your first language!
- Communication!! If you are losing interest, or don't know what to do, let me know. This also goes for if the current rp is hard to reply to, or don't know enough on the subject, just ask! We can figure it out. Please do not ghost or avoid communicating your needs, I am very forgiving and will try to accommodate to what I can.
- Must be consistent with your world building! IE if magic draws energy, an exhausted near-death character shouldnt be able to pull off a super powerful attack to finish the villian; they  can attempt but if the lore is based that it uses energy, it shouldn't work out well kind of thing. TLDR; please stick to the world rules!

If you have anything you want to do in particular I am always happy to explore new things! If you are interested or have questions, DM me, I typically roleplay via Discord but if you have other options we can look at that as well :)) We can discuss more on boundaries, ideas, ect privately. If you are new to Wolvden and cannot message yet, you can gift me 10 SC or any small value item with your discord username and I will gift it back and add you.
