Update by King Hawthorn I haven't been leading this pack long, but all the members seem to respect me for the most part. Star was a bit upset that I was chosen to be the heir instead of her, but I think she should just be grateful that Jupiter's line didn't get erased. Star and I were born late into our mother's life, when she was around 6 years. Before we were born, the heir was going to be Zorro, one of the pupsitters. Then we were born and my mother changed her mind. She had quite the decision, between me and Star. In the end, she chose me over Star. But anyways, back to the current happenings of the pack. Hunting has been ok this season. The alpha team has been catching larger prey, but the beta team can't seem to find more than a scrawny deer. We're all hungry, which makes it hard to keep up with everything. The scouts found a new area beyond the forest and are now scouting the eastern part of the prairie. My mate Hibiscus woke up with pox this morning, and I hope Skunk can find a cure before it spreads to the rest of the pack. |

The other day, my only surviving daughter, Quinn, came up to me and told me she wanted to travel around. I told her that it was dangerous, but she was determined. She left today and I was a bit worried because my other three pups from her litter passed away on a cold winter night. But I guess there's no stopping her now. I just hope she comes home safe. |

We've had two new arrivals in the pack today. Everyone was a bit nervous they weren't going to fit i, but the pack seems to like them. There's a yellow female, Maya and a dark female Silly. They both are a bit nervous being in a new territory after all they had been through. |

The pack lost Phoebe the other day. It was a big shock to most of us because she never really acted old. I think the other pack members all felt sorry for me because ok Phoebe was my adopted mother after all, but we had never been that close. I don't want to say I'm not sad, I'm just not as sad as Moonlight, who had been mates with her for who knows how many years. |

It's been a long time since I've done an update. Things have been going fairly well. Hibiscus left the pack a long time ago, but I quickly found another mate. Her name is April and she is a beautiful gray wolf. We recently welcomed our second litter into this world. They haven't been named yet, as we have been very busy. I'll probably give that some thought later today though. We recently had a lost in the pack. The finisher on the alpha team, Eska, sadly passed away from old age. The past few days have been busy, getting ready to bury her. Ghost is seemingly the most sad out of all of us, seeing as he was her mate. Hopefully he's feeling a bit better in a few days. With the loss of Eska, the alpha team is short a hunter. Lily, who is supposed to fill in for Eska, isn't quite old enough to join the hunting team fully yet. But she will start to go on hunts for the next few days to get used to working with the wolves on the team already. |

A few days ago I gave birth to 3 beautiful puppies. Two females and a male. Both me and my mate, Icicle have a mutation called albinism. Even though it is rare, all three of my pups are albino as well. Crazy! |

Now that my parents had another litter, I won't become the queen anymore. My parents thought that my litter would be their last litter, but turns out, they were wrong. I'm a little mad, I was really excited to become queen, but I think my little brother will be great. He's already showing so much personality. He's kind and respectful, but a little bossy. Even though I'm a little mad, I know my parents are smart and will do the right thing, even if that means I don't become queen. |
