Cloudpaw - FC Apprentice - she/her - Location: Medicine Den

She nodded, feeling the tense air surrounding the ex HazeClan cat. It appeared that he would be joining this patrol too. Does Duskbright not trust him alone in camp? She thought, not that she blamed him though. She heard the stories during her kithood about how ruthless and merciless the other clan was. She shivered thinking about working alongside a cat who came from such a clan. "Yes, Duskbright." Cloudpaw says, an herb patrol was better than staying in camp all day with no patrol.

Willowpaw observed the conversation from near the back of the medicine cat den, sensing the tension and pushing herself further back into the shadows. Not altogether sure what was going on, she was relieved when they seemed about to leave, hopefully taking the unsettling atmosphere with them.

Mallowleaf

Finally, they were leaving soon. Mallowleaf can't help but to be excited. They look back at Willowpaw, who looks like she wants to vanish. Mallowleaf gives her a friendly nudge. "You were close ya know. We use burdock to lessen the pain of infected wounds." They offer the apprentice a friendly smile. She was on the right track. "When we get back from the patrol, we can go over some stuff to review." For a moment Mallowleaf wonders if leaving is a good idea, and if he should let Duskbright handle the herb hunting. No, Mallowleaf thinks. Willowpaw can hold her own. He gives Willowpaw a reassuring glace before heading out of the den to join the small patrol.

Willowpaw watched Mallowleaf depart, slightly disappointed that she was not invited to come along. Granted, she would have declined anyway but it would have been nice to have been asked. Though, after how crowded the den had been, it was nice to get some solitude. Scanning the den, she looked for something to do, wondering if something needed tidying. Though, to her slight dismay, the whole place was spotless. Giving a bored sigh, she settled down in one in one of the empty nests and waited for the apothecary to return, slowy drifting into a semi-rest.
