Dragon’s Hoard [Open]

Deep in your chest, you feel an ache of absence. There are some lives so great that they can touch you without ever being a part of yours. The Great Dragon has passed due to old age. Thousands of years old, barely contained in his tall mountain home, his body has become the organic architecture of scales as hard as stone and ribs cast in high arches holding up the ceiling. Underneath him, lies his hoard. Hundreds of thousands of jewels, gold, wealth. Things important both to creature and of man that creates their small homes in the valleys. There is no heir to the Great Dragon. There is no owner.

You know this. You want a piece of the hoard.

**Ability should be ONE thing this dragon can do that's special. All dragons can fly, if you want, whether they have wings or not. Ability might be something like breathing fire, having a prehensile tail, or even having a human disguise.

Rules
•You may start with two characters, but may eventually have as many as you can keep track of.
•Character death and fighting is alright, but you cannot do these things to another person's character without their consent.
•This rp is semi lit. Minimum of two sentences per character. I, personally, would prefer to write a paragraph per character. Relaxed, easy peasy. That means posts should be as follows at the very least:
"Greyson's pace quickened. Although he was within his relatively safe neighborhood, the hairs on the back of his neck stood up. The silhouettes of his neighbors decorated every window as they all watched silently."
