Moonlight: "What are you talking about?" "Of course it worked"

Moonlight looked over at the flames that were building at snared then said. " What's gonna happen to us?"

"We could go to my home in pyhria." She said

"I thought you were Exiled?" Moonlight asked as he went over to her " Even if we could go, I can't... this is my home... my place of birth. I cant just leave".

"I don't care if they come after me. Besides I can see that if we don't leave the scavengers will kill us. There are more coming now. With fireproof armor and weapons." She said leaning into moonlight

Moonlight backed away and showed something to Shadow. He lifted up one of his wings and showed her a scar

"Do you see that scar, love?" "I got that scar decades ago from those humans. They know I am still alive." "But I am willing to move if you want to. I will go anywhere you go"

"It is just across the ocean. I just want you to be safe." She said looking at the scar.

"Dont worry about me."Moonlight said." I'll follow you. Go on"

Shadow spread her wings and took off. She then circled her Sallith'tahn ready to go. She wondered if moonlight was ready for the journey. 

Moonlight pushed off from the ground and flapped his wings. Was he really ready to leave his home forever? 

"I'm ready love." he finally said as he looked one last time at the flames 

Shadow nuzzled her love with sympathy. She then said "If you want to you can bring something for comfort."
