Personality: Curious, eager to learn. Can be outgoing, and caring, if he so chooses, but also can be reserved and quiet. Depending on if he's focusing on something, or trying to read. If he's trying to read, or focus, he doesn't want to be bothered, and will tell you so, but in a polite way. At least the first time, but, if it happens again, he will be very irritated. |

Short of stature, Korae's softer figure belies the lifetime of muscle she has built from crewing a boat at sea. She moves with the rolling, assured gait of a person whose never quite sure where the ground might be and yet doesn't mind, and is rarely the victim of some clumsy mishap. The woman's face is round, framed by waves of sun-kissed honey hair that have escaped the confines of her thick braid. Skin tanned to a ruddy complexion already bears the traces of laugh-lines and the weathered look of a life exposed to the elements with a dusting of freckles covering a wide button nose and high, full cheeks. Atop a dimpled chin rests a wide and full mouth that nearly always seems to curve upward in a slight smile. Personality Daydreamer | Naive | Emotional | Sincere | Whimsical | Caring For all that a sea trader's life has afforded her a more expansive view of the world than most, Korae has nearly a child-like wonder about her. Her curiosity is intense, often leading to conversations that feel more like interviews for the other party. While such questions from some might feel probing or insincere, there is nothing more than a genuine interest in getting to know others and a delight in making new friends for the young woman. Those who come to know her will find that she remembers details that others might find trivial, often surprising friends and acquaintances with small gifts or treats specific to their interests. Korae is highly emotive, and finds absolute delight in what others might view as the most ordinary things - a beautiful sunset, a lovely birdsong, freshly fallen snow. She is easily swayed by the promise of new discoveries or a chance to learn something new about the world that surrounds her and those who can give her such things will find themselves with a lifelong friend. Of course, such extreme highs are coupled with extremes on the opposite end of the spectrum as well. Cruelty, the pain of others, death and decay - such things in even the smallest of doses easily wound the woman's tender heart. In truth, Korae makes a terrible sailor. Her mind drifts away too freely, making her ill-suited to any lookout duties, and her heart is too tender to take the life of another so she is unable to tend to the fishing nets. She performs terribly under pressure and blood makes her horribly squeamish, making her useless during raids from the king's vessels. Still, she has an affable good-naturedness to her and a determination to help however she can, granting her grace amongst her crew mates.
