well, given its not really a proper 'school' there's not too many halls. it's mostly a few buildings in the valley itself, dorms (each person has 1 to themseflf), a few smaller houses (2 bedroom/1 bath/kitchen) and the dorms have 2 kitchens+each room has a bath area. there's also a stable, its small but still there for whenever supplies are needed as well as a few sheds for supplies - there's a few loyal people who help out around the school

lessons are generally held in the caverns in the big cave where the dragons come from. students aren't allowed to stray further than designated spots as there are special places that dragons hold close as well as where clutches are laid. lessons are general school things but they focus on the history of dragons, on warfare, and on healing. as far as the headmasters know, the king has various armies training and gathering in force across the land as well as using old magic to bring forth demons, maybe shadow dragons so the school has been started to try and prevent that. given dragons have only been discovered recently, it's ofc very small so really they're just trying to see how it goes!

I have a question...with Nyx, could she have worked with hawks/falcons/other birds of prey in her past? It's just something I want...an affinity with birds.

i don't really want too many characters, but if they work just in the stable/around the school then that'd be fine. having already 9 characters+their dragons to keep track of will likely be a bit of a struggle so for now i think i'll only be accepting characters who work around the school.

those characters would be: cooks/healers/hunters/stablehands/general help around the schools/possibly spies or info gatherers. that does apply for everyone but please just ask first!!

as for Nyx that'd absolutely be fine! falconers would be common around courts/places with a decent bit of money and a love for hunting. as in the intro, using ravens/doves to send messages is common and i wouldn't mind if you also add in birds of prey for hunting based reasons :D perhaps they come in with parents sending a gift or similar
