When doing a design on base did you mean this or one of the others? Just making sure bcs I really fell in love with that base(?) from your examples.

Thank you so much!! That's a custom ref, unfortunately :( I don't have any premade bases yet, so you can either wait until I've made one, or just tell me what you'd like and then I'll use the lines made for you as a base afterwards, if that makes sense?

Oh, okay yeah that makes total sense!!

What made me really like the previous example was how versatile it looks. So maybe something similar where the design is easy to see without making the base appear too much like a specific dog breed or canid species (just thinking in a way that would make it easiest for you to reuse the base in the future)? Though the original breed for the character I had in mind (if it had been done with the example's base) would have been a rough collie x border collie mix. If that can give you some inspiration?

For colors, I was kinda thinking it could be heavily inspired by chimeras (example 1, example 2). One side being red merle in coloring (like this ) with it partially broken in places with a wildly different color pattern (maybe this?). I would also love if there was light to medium amounts of white (in the shape of a piebald or Irish pattern). Tho I have to say I'm not nitpicky at all so feel free to make the design how your creativity carries you!! These are more for inspiration than hard rules!
