Anyways, it doesn't specify which cat started the 'drowning all runts' rule, but what if it was the leader at the time (Idk, sayyyyyyy maybe the leader before Mallowstar)? What if StarClan had given the leader a sign (Idk their name... uhhhhh- Wavestar I guess? It would probably be changed, but I'm going to say Wavestar to fill in the gaps) to Wavestar, maybe saying something about a runt will doom their role as leader. In turn, Wavestar decided to drown all runts born in the clan. So, once they had passed away (maybe they lost their last life to drowning, it would be symbolic in a way), they were rejected into joining StarClan from what they had done, but didn't go into the Dark Forest, like a ghost or a spirit, forever to wander the Runtlands. Maybe they would want to take revenge against StarClan for leading them down the path they took, like manipulating Pondkit (he is a runt and oblivious) into either destroying RippleClan or to try and make RippleClan turn against StarClan. Literally it just an idea that popped into my head, don't have to go for it, and obviously if everyone else likes the idea/okay with the idea, then maybe it could happen? |
