Community Update #54

@BlueZora I know they did test a Marking Pass item in Beta Testing. It was called the Ochre Saltlick. So that definitely would be a cool item to bring back source

Edit: Also an eyes one!

@Slothie
Thank you for the support on that! That was my thought behind it, I like the different biome decors so I move biomes frequently. I'm up to needing to slay 10 wolves and I know people have more than that. It would be nice to not spend almost 2 days trying to move my pack.

But really new t3 bases, more mutations would be the best. The market is becoming stagnant, I think a direwolf mutation would be cool

Yeah it seems like every part of the game has been updated except mutations. I understand they take a lot of artwork (although that's questionable since a mutation could be as simple as no tail), yet we've had 2 poses that require just as much artwork to be added to the game.

I know we're not really allowed to suggest new mutations I think. But definitely, mutation items would be beneficial to the future mutation market in the game. Especially if you get a random mutation and it doesn't always give you a mutation. It's just an additional chance.

But I do agree for this to work there needs to be a much wider range of mutations and it has to be decided how it will affect both primary and secondary mutations separately.

I agree with the "Items to boost trophy-drop-chance" suggestion, and present an "Attract higher level enemies" item as a possible alternative.

Im a gamer at heart and I play this because it's not in your face about pay to win.
You can pay for energy(guarana)
Instant pup delivery (feather)
And instant heat(heart)

Having it be only event currency could hold people back... Or you could literally pay to have your wolf's be stronger... That's a big red line.
It's a slippery slope and I think anyone who knows what a phone game is, is holding their collective breathes.

So my ideas
1) a one time ex boost and double stat gain for the exploring wolf or
2) a breeding item that maximizes number of marking passed on, or guarantees to fill same slots as the parents have on all wolves.
I guess I would rather have special rare items, rather than a one time stat or percent altering item.
Keep up the good work wolvden team!

On the other side, maybe a "repel all enemies" item. This would theoretically boost the chance of the other encounters

@Captain

I'm not sure about your argument Captain, and would be interested in knowing more about your feelings and thoughts behind not allowing items like that during events.

Anyone can earn event currency, so anyone would be able to get the items. And the items would in theory return every year. So if you missed the items one year (new player, hiatus, etc), you could get them during the following year.

I would love to have an item that can revives puppys because how often does it happens that your puppy has a sitter but dies anyway

Ooh a direwolf Mutation and a Cyclops?Β  (Cyclops happens by inbreeding wolves, but you know that πŸ˜‰)
Also, an item to force a wolf into heat :)
And also another item to boost a Mutation chance of passing onto pups πŸ˜Άβ€πŸŒ«οΈπŸ₯°πŸ”ΉοΈ
And another item, like @#49785 BlueFlame said, to revive dead pups πŸ˜„

And more T3 and * bases! :D
Example:

Β  maybe Star sign Bases (T*)?
Β  And Magpie bases (T3)?
