𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐍. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ [ pitiable in circumstances, especially through abandonment. ] Welcome home, weary traveller. Lorn is a literate, semi-fantasy wolf roleplay set in the wilderness of Yukon, Canada. Residing within the picturesque valleys and forests are two packs, Reverie Pack in the spacious mountains, and Cozen Pack in the evergreen woodlands. **Lorn is accessible on Discord only!** Two years ago, a pair of wolves who were emotionally bonded together were bought over from the Yellowstone National Park to introduce new blood onto untouched lands. They were two inseparable sisters who couldn't stay away from each other. Their names were Reverie and Cozen. Upon their initial release, the kin were tracked vigorously on their journey through the rugged terrain using radio collars, neither of them wanted to split and form their own pack. This puzzled researchers. The siblings spent their days foraging, hunting, playing, and exploring the vast domicile that they now called home, they wanted to explore every corner of the earth. The frigid plumage of winter struck and temperatures began to drop significantly, knowing that they had to make a quick decision, Reverie explained to Cozen that they would have to find partners soon in hopes of ever making it through another year - the two of them simply couldn't take down a bull elk without serious injury. Cozen reluctantly agreed while her sister told her to wait by the aspen tree, letting her know that she "would be back." Many days passed without any sightings of her free-spirited sister, the paw prints in the dustings of snow had since faded away. Cozen refused to move a single muscle, anxiously waiting for her return. Lonely sunrises grew into troublesome long nights without sleep, the black and silver canine was living off of red berries that were scattered around the area she cornered off. With her kin's scent now faint, Cozen decided to venture into the unknown, sprinting after Reverie in hopes of reuniting. She grew weaker with each moon phase, her once prime condition was now barely enough to keep her on her paws. Trekking through bountiful fields full of snow blankets, being undetected at forest campsites, strolling by a shimmering open lake, Cozen laid tired eyes upon a foot of a tall mountain. It was there that the familiar scent began to pick up. She used all of her remaining strength to drag herself to the beginning of the ascent. It was there, nestled within the shadows of natural-looking caves, Reverie lay bundled up with two identical pups of her own - she looked. . . happy. An abrupt rustling of moss startled the stubborn sister who quickly hid behind a bramble bush. Striding in his place, was a muscular timber wolf who she assumed was her mate. She had started a pack in the mountains at long last. Unbeknownst to the joyful sister, Cozen stepped back in disgust, wondering how long it had truly been since Reverie abandoned her. She clenched her white fangs together and turned around, determined to do the perilous journey to the aspen tree again. It took Cozen many months to establish her territory within the mystical woodlands, eventually finding her own mate to cherish, but she was still not fully over the 'loss' of her sister. She called the forest her home; she had a special connection to the province, and she didn't want to look back. But that was two years ago. . . _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Lorn takes place two years after the sudden disappearance of both sisters, it is up to their descendants to rise up and take control, will they bring calamity or serenity to both of the packs? What is up with the nuclear reactor nearby? It seems to be flashing and coming to life. . .
