Took absolutely forever. ~~~~~~~~~~` The full. Moon opened to the Lighthope pack, they followed their leader to the lake as it was the most open space in the Taiga. A howl started leaded by Saige'wing. This howl was to their gods, to their goddesses, to their dead family, to the prey who sacrificed themselves for the survive of the pack, for the cool waters they had to drink from. The howling was from the young and the old, the lowest ranking to the highest. Everyone was to participate. This howl would last for around an hour then they would travel back to the camp and all head to sleep but before that all the wolves would lap up the water nd chat with each other till Saige'wing decided it was time to head home. ~~~~~~~~~~~~` |

~~~~~` Howling. It was distant, but the sound alone is what made it an issue. howling was something that was reserved in his kingdom; special occasions and the like allowed to do such a thing but even then it was private. Tybalt, unknowing if this was a warning or celebration, hopped down from the tree and began rounding up his things from the forests border. He was glad to know that even the two soldiers understood the possible danger of this and started packing as well. but Tybalt was not one to sneak away quietly. in a small quiet opening, Tybalt himself gave one small, lonely howl in response back. ~~~~~` |

~~~~~~~~~~~~` Saige'wing heard and understood the howl. She didn't think anything of it and didn't care. The rest of her pack was chatting and following their leader back home too busy to pay attention to such things. Nebula had heard but she was busy trying to shut her nephew who was being annoying. "Don't you ever shut up you annoying little pest?!" Nebula barked. "Nope! My mommy says she thinks I'm annoying too! Teehee!" Nebula though about kicking the pup but she knew better. Just because she was an adol didn't mean she would make childish decisions. ~~~~~~~~~` |

"Mother!" "Tybalt. you've returned. I assume the mission went as planned?" Tybalt gave a quiet nod in response as he pulled the scroll out of his satchel. "Pyro returned with a letter as well." Rosvellta, curious, took the scroll and gently rolled out the paper and placed it on the table. with every sentence that Rosvellta read, her ears would slowly flatten into anger or resentment. sheepishly, Tybalt asked a question he feared that he may have already known. "what did they say?" "nothing of actual value. they ignored my warning of mercy. every time I provide just a little bit of grace...it always falls back onto me. but not this time." in a huff of anger Rosvellta barked orders at a nearby soldier, and ordered him to fetch Doe-bush, and have all the other Soldiers and Knights in the courtyard by sun high. the War ahead brews, and Rosvellta does not intend to lose. ~~~~~` will be switching back to Rosvellta's POV from now on :> |

Saige'wing thought to herself. "Why must wolves act so selfish? Don't they know were are trying to survive to? Such selfish tomfoolery. Ridiculous." Lunar's pup being the nameless trickster he was decided to run off away from the pack. He wasn't sure where he was at this point but he was far from his pack. |

Rosvellta sent out an early morning patrol after the return of Tybalt. the party was named "The Dragon Soldiers" and consisted of Polar-bear, the head leader, Black-pond, the second in command, Dove-throat, Solbra and adriel as typical notetakers. Polar-bear kept in front at least 20 paces and Black-pond in the back, behind 40 paces. in-between was the rest scattered around. around this time they were knee-deep in their newest territory- claimed in order to ease the hunger of their ever growing kingdom. its been a while since the general population had the ability's to explore new areas after their kings move from the Grasslands to the Mountains. Suddenly, something caught the old white wolf's attention - a wiggling bush. excited to catch a small meal, Polar-Bear reached in and grabbed the small animal. when he lifted the creature above him, he was surpassed to see a small pup, scared and alone. ~~~~~` |

"Put me down! My mommy will find me! She will eat you!" The gray ghost like pup barked in the cutest angry way a pup could muster. He was trying to be scary and was failing. Lunar'wing was busy scheming against her own pack and any pack who got in her away. She could care less about her pup. ~~~~~~~~~` |

"HAHA!" Polar-bear bellowed with a hearty laugh "This pups got gusto!" Polar-bear set down the young pup and patted his head while the others grouped around. "What should we do?" asked Dove-throat. "We must bring him to the king!" stated Adriel. "we can't! who knows what will happen to him if we do!" bickered Solbra. "Ill take care of him." Black-pond spoke coldly. "I may as well be Rosvellta's Aunt for long how I was with her uncle." a wave of mournful silence swept over the small crowd, knowing all to well that Black-pond was a widow. the silence was quickly broken by the young pup. "I don't want to go to your stinky kingdom, I want to go home!" "and where is home, little one?" asked polar-bear. the young pup turned around and pointed into the Taiga territory. ~~~~~` |

''My mommy is the heir to the Taiga! She is born from a reincarnated goddess! She will eat you!" He was crouched into a small ball of angry floof. Lunar didn't give to shakes of her tail to that pup. He was just a place holder for her plans. Saige cared more about the pup then anyone being the grandwolf to him along with his aunt Nebula who stood him for being family. Saige'wing was sleeping in her den as the old wolf she was. ~~~~~~~~~~` |

"ah shii....." Polar-bear sighed. "well that surely complicates things." The wolf turned to the other for advice but they were lost as well. "I say we follow through with the original plan. if your 'mommy' is what you say she is, I would rather not get eaten like common prey." Black-pond pointed out. Dove-throat and Adriel agreed, but Polar-Bear and Solbra disagreed. "but the boy's home is right here!" argued Solbra. "if we take the boy and leave, this would cause more tension on the war!" "plus, it simply wouldn't be right." "Fine, then. you two can go down into enemy territory and let the leader know you got their boy, and get yourselves killed for doing the 'right thing.' if this boy was properly loved - he wouldn't be here in the first place." and with that, the wolves split off. Polar-bear went past the border and Black-pond went back to home - but Polar-bears final message burned into the back of her skull. "Doing this, it won't bring Sesil back." ~~~~~` |
