Age: 60 moons at death - technically 84 moons old if alive still (died a moon before Mallowstar passed) Gender: Tom Sexuality (optional): Heterosexual Clan: Dark Forest - Former MoorClan Role: Former medicine cat - Now a Dark Forest cat who is on Purestar's side in the factions Description (looks): A mostly light cream cat, Hoot___ has light gold to light brown markings on the front of his legs. He has semi-curly fur with longer fur on his head that covers his brown eyes/most of his face (aka, my excuse to have a cat with emo hair lmao-). He has gray to brown speckles on his legs, head fur and tail. He has a light-ish brown nose with pink-- almost gray, inside his ears. His pupils in his eyes are always in slits, no matter what his mood is. His look was inspired by a barn owl, which his ref will be down below. Personality: He was pretty quiet before his death, though got a bit more vocal since he's been in the Dark Forest. He always felt that StarClan must have had chosen the wrong cat to be the medicine cat, thinking that his twin brother, Specklewing, was a better fit. When he was alive, he wouldto just go into the tunnels and just be in his mind when he got frustrated. He was pretty much the typical "cold guy is only soft to one person" trope when he was alive, more about that in his backstory :) Family: Mother: Goldenstep - 109 moons old at death, would be 133 moons old if alive - deceased (passed away to old age in her sleep) - in StarClan - NPC ~~~~~ Father: Wingedleap - 90 moons old at death, would be 134 moons old if alive - deceased (died to a hawk getting him, died before the rest of his family) - in StarClan - NPC ~~~~~ Twin Brother: Specklewing - 59 moons old at death, Hoot___ killed him again after 5 moons of being in the Dark Forest - deceased (passed away from falling in the gorge, though is now fully gone when Hoot___ got another Dark Forest cat to kill him) ~~~~~ Kit: Snowydust - elder at 63 moons due to her going blind, an unhealable broken leg and asking to be retired - Alive - NPC, though if someone would want to be her, go ahead :D! - In BrackenClan ~~~~~ Grandkit: Muddedstar - 47 moons old -BrackenClan leader - Alive - Played by me :) Backstory (optional): I'm so sorry that its long, I got too into the writing mood TvT At first, Hootpaw was angry at the medicine cat (insert name- uhhh- Softsound?-), Softsound, from choosing him. Specklepaw always would reassure Hootpaw that it was all good, and jokes that he would have some perks to being a medicine cat! Though Hootpaw wasn't that sure. Softsound was nice to Hootpaw, understanding that he wouldn't have imagined he would become the healer of the clan when he got his full name. Even though it was tough in the beginning, Hootpaw had really started to kinda "vibe" with being a medicine cat. He was pretty good at making poultices, though does have a bit of trouble identifying herbs from one another. Anyways, Hootpaw had later earned his medicine cat name making him now Hoot___! Specklepaw had earned his warrior name as Specklewing, and all was good. Though, when Hoot___ had met a she-cat named (Idk- Wrenclaw?-) Wrenclaw, a warrior from BrackenClan, everything changed basically. Hoot___ didn't think he would fall for another cat, especially from another clan, but it's not like Hoot___ really paid attention to StarClan's rules for his role anyways. The two had gotten to know each other for 5 moons (she's the same age as him) before they had a kit that resulted in Snowykit! As you probably guessed, yes, Wrenclaw is also albino. Specklewing had found out about Hoot___'s secret mate and kit and scorned his twin because of it! Unlike Hoot___, Specklewing had followed the warrior code very closely, so this really resulted to tension between the brothers. Hoot___ had thought of leaving, but he was the only medicine cat of MoorClan, and he didn't really want to have an apprentice anytime soon, so, he stayed. Some boring time skip to when Hoot___ is 59 moons old-- Specklewing had fallen in the gorge making everyone think that Hoot___ had done it or something to do with it. Since the large argument/tension between the brothers, it was obvious something had happened, though no one knows what that was. Hoot___ died a moon later to a group of rogues while he was collecting herbs. He had never trained an apprentice, leaving the clan to think out the way to get a medicine cat. When Hoot___ joined the Dark Forest for having a mate and a kit when he was a medicine cat, he had blamed Specklewing for all this bad luck when he died. So, he waited until the right time for another random Dark Forest cat to convince, making them attack and kill Specklewing again. That Dark Forest warrior was obviously blamed for Specklewing's death and was punished accordantly. Hoot___ chose to be on Purestar's side out of spite, he secretly does wish to see his daughter one last time... Other: Despite the fur in his face, he can see surprising well! Having adapted to it from when he was 4 moons old (it grew out waaay longer when he got older-- having no fur on his head at all when born). Hoot___ only shows his eyes to those he either trusts, or is close to (his eyes aren't special, but he believes that eyes are the gateway to the soul). As an extra sidenote, this has really helped with my character design and drawings (I hope TvT), so thank you so much :D   [I tried to connect some of my characters somehow, I hope I did a good job/it's all good that his kin are in BrackenClan ^^'] |

Sooooo much drama, I love it. (did I literally make a dark forest "wimp" of a cat named HootFace for a story of how BryonyMoon settled into the dark forest but HootMask is so much cooler than him.....) |

Age: 22ish moons, if she were living I couldn't tell you how old she was. Gender: Female Clan: StarClan, formerly of MoorClan. Role: Council member Description: Slightly shorter and stockyer she-cat, her fluffy fur makes up for her height. She has long yellow fur that's hard to clean, a large plumey tail which is also hard to clean, sparkling yellow eyes, and ample whiskers Personality: Always trying to be optimistic, Puff's optimism has taken on a slightly darker edge over the ages. She's quite bouncy and bubbly and loves to talk and talk and talk and talk. She tries to be kind but kindness sometimes leaves her on her lonesome and everyone else hurt. She tends to avoid the cats that she used to be friends with because drama. Family: She has a sister named DandelionBlaze, now in StarClan. Backstory: When she was out hunting one day she was approached by a shining cat which she could only describe as empty. It told her that she was chosen to be one of StarClan's council. She had her reasons for staying with the living, mainly her bf BerryLeg, her bestie BlackNose, and her soon to be apprentice FlowerKit. She was urged by an invisible cat to accept the role of council member as they said that she'd be worse off if she didn't accept. And that's basically what happened..... I'll reveal more later.  Other: Oh, I forgot to mention that BerryLeg and BlackNose became mates and BlackNose mentored FlowerKit....  Yay first face reveal.

For Brindleleaf (Birdclan med cat) since she's my personal oc, I just want to scrap her. I know I did a short scene with someone, so idk if you just want to pretend that it was whoever claims the next/new medicine cat. As for CarpSkip since she's a claim of TroutHaze family, someone else can claim her/take the character if that's fine with Hopephries and Charcoal. Thank you guys anyways for the chance! |
