Zane stared at her before turning around and continuing his way “just don’t be loud” he told her without looking to see if she was following or not. “You get annoying and I’ll ditch you real quick” Zane huffed.

Rose: "Do you mind if I accompany you?" "Please". I don't like the dark.." 

I had to resend.. did't  get response again... grrr

Rose: I won't be loud... I promise

Zane didn’t respond as he continued walking. Zane pulled his phone out as he did the math to see how long it would take. “We shouldn’t take long to get there” Zane muttered putting his phone away and looked back at rose.

Rose kept up with Zane and they stayed quiet till they reached the library

Then Zane looked back at rose and posed a question that Rose had to think about really hard

“Don’t you have friends or something?” Zane asked as he took out the books he was finished with from his backpack to give them back to the library. “It’s weird being with someone that you don’t know” Zane muttering walking to go get some more books.

Rose stammered as she told him the truth

"I.. I don't Zane... you're the first one I have seen since my Father let me out of the palace to be on my own

She touched his arm and looked at him. 

Zane looked at where her hand was “please don’t touch me” he muttered before turning away to look at some books. “Being alone isn’t that bad and if you don’t like being alone go make some friends or something. Zane shrugged grabbing some books.

Rose turned and sat down not leaving Zane but not looking at him
