Ilia smiled at Esmeray, giving a small wave in goodbye. Turning back to Emma, she shook her head. "Don't you worry about tidying up, you've helped quite a bit already! Go home, get some sleep. Have something proper to eat." She laughed a little, shutting a few of the cabinets. "I'll take care of this all tomorrow."

Finally an expression formed on Kaizen's face: his brow furrowed as Snowfox spoke. "You presume much. Even a small critter, when within our territory, belongs to us." His hackles bristled up. "Alpha would not take kindly to even the smallest theft. Take heed as this is your only warning. Stay on that side of our border."

He turned thoughts around in his head about the spirits she was referring to. He didn't believe in that sort of thing. "Have your bird stuff moss in your ears then. Stay out of Omnia Vincit Amor territory, noisy spirits or not."

Emma finally felt tiredness rush over her body as Ilia declined and told her she should go get rest. A yawn creeped up on her and Emma yawned while stretching her arms into the air. "Alright, you've convinced me. Make sure to do the same, yeah?" She started walking toward the door and brushed her hand over Ilia's arm sweetly. "Goodnight! And thanks again!" The girl made quick work of the steps and moments later vanished down the end of the hall.

The moon was past where it could be seen from the mouth of the cave, and the tide was beginning to rise.
Not as much done as I would like. I'm falling behind.
Disappointed, and not fond of getting trapped in caves and drowning to death, Shade leaves.
I should find out what that cursed howling was about. Damn outsiders, keeping me from my R-
My work. Kept me from my work, yes.
Loping in the direction the howls had come from Shade's mind wandered. How much longer would this go on? How many more late nights? It was taking too long. Especially with all the interruptions.

Closing in on the source of the scents- one recognizable, one foreign- Shade slowed her pace, taking more deliberate steps and raising her head. Coming into view it looked between them, Kaizen and a strange she-wolf with a bird perched proudly on their rear. Kaizen seemed at least annoyed, which was strange since he rarely showed even the slightest hint of what he was thinking. The other was defensive, their fur bristling.
With a tired sigh, Shade broke their charged silence, "and what is happening here?"

"That's what I like to hear," Kaizen answered. His stoic expression returned but his piercing eyes didn't waver. She could be lying, of course; better to solidify the idea he meant business. Pawsteps began to approach. The ear facing the direction that Shade came from angled toward the Alpha as it neared them. When words were spoken his tail lowered but his gaze remained fixed on Snowfox.
"Hello Alpha. This wolf treads dangerously close to our border. I'm ensuring that Alpha has no intruders on the territory."

Cosette startled awake, opening her eyes and slipping away from Sola. She stretched, making a squeaking noise before slipping out of the nursery, careful not to wake anyone. She walked to the alpha's den, seeing she wasnt there and sighing. She would have to wait at the camp opening again, to talk to Alpha about the nightmare she kept happening. She knew this wasnt a normal nightmare, Cosette never had normal nightmares.
