So I've been tossing around the idea of replacing my stud and wanted some other opinions. Should I? If so, to who and how much would you expect to pay? Of course, everyone who helps out will receive a refunded breeding to be used at any time, with any stud of mine

My current stud is Yagaos (TIII Opal | 5M (Merle, Tamaskan, Inuit) | G5)


Options I've considered include:

Tavren (T* Clover | 6M (Wings) | G2)
Nerium (TIII Mojave | 5M (Merle) | Storm Eyes | G3)
Tezren (T* Losna | 6M | G4)


Maybe Vanvern (TII Pale | 3M | Melanism Mutation, Albinism Carrier | G9)
I could base change him to Caelum, but he's a high gen; I don't know if it would be worth it

Tezren is the prettiest, but Nerium has the stats advantage and I value that more. I would keep up with Nerium's training and make him your stud as soon as he overtakes Yagaos in his stats.

I think Nerium is absolutely beatiful and he has the highest stats, i would personally choose him to be the next stud ^^

I can't say whether you should change your current stud out - that really depends on how many requests you get and how much you breed to him within your own pack. However, if you choose to, I'd agree that Nerium's your best bet. Best overall stats of the group, low-gen NIB TIII, Storm eyes, a merle - all pluses. Tavren's my favorite, but I'm going off what I think others would find most appealing. So long as you keep his training up, it could definitely work.

For pricing, I can't help you. I always make my studs cheap so it's not my strong suit lol.

(And I wouldn't put Caelum onto Vanvern unless you really want to. I don't think it'd be worth it.)

@spotpc it does make a lot of sense to switch them out when Yagaos gets overtaken - I hadn't even thought of that thank you

@TheDakotaraptorKing thank you for letting me know, it really helps!

@Whirligig I'll be sure to keep up his training thank you! I'll probably put him at the minimum cost and call it a day, to be honest. And, yeah, I don't think I'll base change him - you're right in that it wouldn't be worth it

All three of you have been added to the refunded studding list. I check this before accepting a request, so don't worry about that - I'll reach out after your request to see if you would like to use it then or not :D
