I started a very large piece this weekend, I've never drawn such a large and detailed background, but so far I really like how it goes. It will be a scene of prehistoric Africa and I'm planning to add dinosaurs, pterosaurs, a small mammal and maybe a few other small reptiles.
This is maybe a quarter of the whole image, the rest is still very rough and not rendered yet

Woahhhhh, these are super elaborate! The detail is unbelievable! The first one kind of reminds me of a scratchboard, which is super cool! The colored pieces look like they would fit perfectly into a dinosaur browser game! All of them have great brushwork and shading! These are super impressive :o
