These were all taken with a 600mm lens so I was obviously pretty far away haha. it was great because we got to watch them for about 10 minutes before they were all in the trees. We counted 13 wolves in total. Every time I looked at the photos I saw a new wolf! They were eating on a carcass in the treeline, and there was a grizzly eating on it too. You can see him in the last picture. I never expected to see the two together. I'm not sure on the pack, I'm guessing Junction Butte because it was early on in Lamar, but not 100% sure. We missed them being much closer by like twenty minutes the next day. I was heartbroken! |
