The Legacy

Alva - Lead Scout - Died Winter Yr 1

Alva was born a week ahead of Staffan, and the two were thick as thieves.  When their birth pack was plagued with sickness and all hope was lost they fled, promising each other they would start a new, stronger pack.  They would rebuild in a new, untainted land.  Together the yearlings discovered the great Cinder Ridge Mountain, and began to recruit wanderers.  Unfortunately Alva would not get to see the Moonsingers truly thrive for it was her destiny to be taken by Aludan back to the depths from where all life comes.  An earthquake shook the mountain, causing a landslide which destroyed a few of the pack's dens, and passages but the most agonising sacrifice was Alva - crushed beneath the falling rock and earth.
