 The ++Cult Pact++ Challenge

Whitelist Sign-Up | Studs | Chatter

Greetings! The "Cult Pact" Challenge is a game mode, akin to familiar and loved challenges like Lioden's .:Hard Mode:. and Liolocke challenges. ++CP++ follows in the footprints of the aforementioned modes, adding a splash of roleplaying flair and lineage aesthetic to the status-quo "clean" breeding gaming style. If ++CP++ sparks your interest, I invite you to join the community via the Sign Up thread! Please use this thread for general questions, comments or concerns, or find us on Discord!

Pact Laws
  • Packs must start with a heritageless breeding male.
  • No wolf shall be inbred in a Pact member’s pack.
  • No wolf may mate with another wolf of a different generation.
  • A surname shall be applied to all breeding males and all packmates with heritage.*
    --> *Surnames are not required to be in a wolf's official name, but we ask that it be included in a wolf's footnotes or bio to remain on the Whitelist.

I do have a question that I haven't thought of before. I understand that for the specific lineage the breeding male must only breed with wolves of the same generation--- but would this also have to apply to any studding requests that the male gets from players that are outside of the clan? Just figured I asked before I fully commit because I'd feel bad for rejecting requests just for clan reasons.

Bloodiath, I have a final answer for your question regarding studding requests! I have implemented some changes to how the Pact operates based on multiple questions and concerns from members. This particular question was a hot topic. We do not want to limit studding opportunities from outside of the Pact. An important rule change from our Laws & By-Laws Google Docs:

    • Studding your Breeding Male to non-pact members is allowed. Non-Pact members are not required to follow our generation breeding rules, surname rules, or even clean breeding as a whole -  though you, as the stud owner, may choose to impose similar rules over your stud’s offspring. Beware; any pups created from your stud and a non-whitelisted pack will be viewed as “bastards” in the eye of the Pact and are ineligible to be brought into the challenge with a surname.

Leadership of the Pact has transferred from Faded to Me. There is a new forum for the Cult Pact. The Pact has undergone some changes regarding structuring and how packs and bloodlines are identified. For more information, follow the “laws” link on the new forum. If you have more questions, please DM me on Discord or Wolvden.

If you would like to remain a member of the Pact, please comment on the new forum.
