Posted 2022-04-14 16:51:25 #723836 About the Lodge: This is a group that is dedicated to creating, selling and appreciating all forms of art. All forms of fine art can be shared here: 2D art both traditional and digital, 3D sculpting and modelling, animation, etc. and writing! This is a group mainly meant to have fun, advertising your content, hosting art related mini events and contests, and monthly mini challenges. Bank and Hoard: As this is an art based group and not really a game centered one, you can use the hoard however you like. You can put any items you want in there, take out any items, its no big deal. There is a minor cap of 3 items per day that you can take out. It is completely optional to donate to the bank. It's no cost to you to be a member of the group, and the monthly group fee will be covered by me. The bank will be used to expand the group size. And possibly to help fund mini events. Any donations are always welcomed and any time cones are taken out, there will be an announcement as for why. Upcoming Plans: Here are some rough up and coming plans for this group. Some may change or be removed, but a lot will be expanded upon in time. There are some plans that just can't be made yet due to lack of game mechanics, but they can be worked around or updated in the future. Monthly Challenges: Every month, there will be a theme announced. A theme could be a word or phrase, or even event or season. Members have a month to create an art or writing piece centered around that theme. It does not have to relate to wolves or Wolvden, so long as it revolves around the month's theme. People who participate and post their art/writing piece will get 10 SC from me, not from the group bank. You can make as many pieces as you want, you just have to get them done before the month ends. Then that theme will be retired and a new theme will be picked out at the start of the next month. Contests and Mini Events: Sometimes I like to host contests or special mini events. Mini events do not relate to the Wolvden game events. Mini events will be more community based where its more about having fun. Secret Santa, Trick or Treating, Valentine's, etc. can all be worked with towards making a fun community event. As for contests, those will be more competitive and have good prizes. Anyone can host a group contest, but mini events will need to be planned by moderators and admins to ensure they don't cancel or fall apart. Advertising: You can advertise any commission pages, adopts, or animation calls you want. There will be a thread dedicated towards listing everyone's thread pages. Group Discounts: If you're an artist or writer, you can create discounts for your fellow group members. This is entirely optional! You do not have to make a discount on your work if you don't want to. If you choose to include group discounts for your content, it will be labeled in the advertising thread as well. Raffles: Every once in a while I may hold a raffle. It could be item related towards the game, or it could be an art related raffle with the winner getting a YCH slot, a custom, etc. I may also host raffles for custom decor. Anyone is allowed to host a group raffle. At the moment, I don't believe there is a group exclusive raffle function in this game. When they are implemented, they will be used. Art Critiquing Threads: If you need advice on sketches or want opinions, there will be a thread dedicated towards critiquing art. You are free to to ask for critiques, give critiques, brainstorm ideas, etc. Keep in mind that making insults or jokes does not equal constructive criticism. Writing Critiquing Threads: Just like the art thread above, there will also be a writing critiquing thread. Here you can brain storm ideas, share rough drafts, and ask for proof reads. Many people use Google Docs to share and edit writing and projects. Please be sure to use an account that doesn't give any private information. Tips and Tricks: There will be forums and threads dedicated towards sharing guides and tips for both fine art and writing. If you are going to share a guide that is offsite or made by a different person, please give them the proper credits. Media Appreciation: The Fine Arts include many mediums besides art. This section of the group will be dedicated towards the discussion and recommendation of media. You can make posts talking about movies, shows, music, books, video games, etc. You can share your thoughts and opinions about media. However, if you choose to discuss or critique a piece of media, please be mature and critical. I don't want to see any Marvel vs. DC cat fights. Please do not make any thread posts or comments that are inappropriate or will instigate arguments. Animal Media Appreciation: Just like the thread above is dedicated towards all media, this section narrows the focus down towards animals and nature related media. Here you can recommend media and hold discussions about said nature. I may make a thread post that links Wolf related media that people can comment on. The more recommendations added, the more I'll add to the post. ~ Again, these are just some of the overall plans in store for this group. Some plans may take a little longer to start up. There will be a suggestions thread for anyone to comment on and make recommendations.
