The Tīshō'erlūa believe in pack purity, and keep sharp records of lineage. Once a wolf has left any of the Atī-Akelū packs, they cease to be recorded, as their lineage is unimportant to the packs. Outside breeders are vetted properly before any breedings occur, and the only inbred wolves permitted in the packs are those adopted from Lillemor. Adopted wolves who are thoroughly confirmed to not be inbred are permitted to have normal pack lives, while inbred, adopted wolves are forbidden from spreading their tainted genes to others, and often are restricted to non-breeding roles such as hunters or mentors. Wolves traded or purchased from other packs are painstakingly vetted to insure they are not inbred before transactions occur.

While the Tīshō'erlūa do not utilize surnames, they do make note of heritage with titles, and keep their records well organized. The two main titles are "Velē Sh'/ancestor/" and "Tē'askabel Sh'/parent/". Those with "Velē" are biologically related to the wolf in the title, while the "Tē'askabel" are adopted wolves, and their title directly means "Chosen of /parent/". For example, a wolf with "Velē Sh'Kalerlūa" as a title means they are of Kalerlūa's blood, while a wolf with "Tē'askabel Sh'Kalerlūa" means that Kalerlūa adopted them. There are two exceptions where this rule does not apply, and they are for wild wolves with no known heritage, referred to as "Velē Sh'Sidūakelū", and those purchased outside of the pack, the "Velē Sh'Yakhēakelū".
To the Tīshō'erlūa, heritage and family are of utmost importance, but pups are not considered pack-members until they are a minimum of one month in age, but should pups die prior to that age, they will still be recorded as "Lost". Pups under one month in age will be named if they pass on, unless they were unborn.

Pack Origin

The Tīshō'erlūa was founded by ten wolves, each seeking an escape from their past in different ways. The founders were: Kalerlūa, Drimūske, Fēhebyasha, Kalthrān, Fēyesthrel, Kēonakhau, Asamarakē, Yakhē'urmē, Uērōkrīf, and Hūelt'asha. Kalerlūa was the leader, organizing the others and ensuring everyone's needs were met. Asamarakē was the original scout, and discovered much about the lands. Fēhebyasha and Fēyesthrel were pupsitters, making sure every pup was well looked-after. Kalthrān was the first Herbalist, keeping the pack healthy and learning much about herbs. Drimūske, Kēonakhau, Yakhē'urmē, Uērōkrīf, and Hūelt'asha were the hunting team, bringing back prey for their pack with skill and speed.

Kalerlūa Sh'et'pahar'ikō

Name Meaning: Crow moon of the forgotten fog
Parents: The deity Skelbrolk and an unknown she-wolf. Adopted by a wolf called Tē'aska'tāitkes.
Offspring: Biological mother of Okwaōrān'khāl, Rēyl'kūkol, and Ūske'ikō. Adoptive mother of Ihinōra, Ūbanaseld, Brōeld'ōenthō, Brōeldekēne, and Ōyerūathī.
Mate: Drimūske
Status: Elderly

It was a stormy spring night when Tē'aska'tāitkes found the dead she-wolf and her only puppy, a newborn. Small, grey she-pup, with mottled fur and pale grey eyes, nestled into her dark fur, desperately trying to urge milk to flow. Tē'aska'tāitkes felt warm, yet sad, when she looked at the puppy, and she knew she had to take her in. Quickly, she gathered the pup and carried her off to the cave she called home. Sadness filled her mind when she thought about the circumstances of the pup, and she quietly wondered who sired her. She named the pup "Kalerlūa" after the full moon of the month she was born. She quickly noted the unusual aspects of the pup as she grew, such as her ability to dissipate into fog, and see through the eyes of the crows. When Kalerlūa was 4 months old, Tē'aska'tāitkes took her to a distant shaman, who she hoped could explain the pup's strange powers. The shaman immediately recognized the pup's abilities and markings as the offspring of Skelbrolk, and began a purification ritual. As the ritual progressed, the pup's eyes changed from pale grey to bright, icy blue.
"She will be protected from the dark deity now," they whispered, "The moon goddess sheds her light on her soul."

Drimūske

Name Meaning: Dusk Storm
Parents: Unknown
Offspring: Adoptive mother of Okwaōrān'khāl, Rēyl'kūkol, Ūske'ikō, Ihinōra, Ūbanaseld, Brōeld'ōenthō, Brōeldekēne, and Ōyerūathī.
Mate: Kalerlūa Sh'et'pahar'ikō
Status: Elderly

Drimūske was a loner from a young age, weaned and driven from her pack the moment she could walk. She wandered aimlessly around, until she eventually settled high in the mountains, where other wolves were scarce. She hardly thrived, merely sustaining herself on the vermin she found and frequently going hungry. It was rough, especially for one so young, but somehow, she survived and grew.

Fēhebyasha

Name Meaning: Pale Snow
Parents: Forgotten
Offspring: Biological Mother of Zhowirā and Īworadrim
Mate: None
Status: Adult

The first pup in the Tīshō'erlūa, Fēhebyasha had many obstacles in her life. Although she was born outside the pack, her birth pack didn't want her, and advertised her in the lands as being "for sale". Fēhebyasha wasn't scared, however, as strange creatures had visited her dreams to tell her of their plans, and later, she learned these beasts were called Ekelūmē. When the Ekelūmē's plan came together and she was brought to the Tīshō'erlūa, many more challenges arose. As the first pup in the pack, the other members had a hard time remembering she was too young to help with most things, but they assigned Fēyesthrel to watch her and keep her out of trouble.

Kalthrān

Name Meaning: Stone Tree
Parents: Unknown
Offspring: Biological Mother of Mēiv'ūkan.
Mate: None

Kalthrān had always been intrigued by the wonders of herbs and all the fascinating things they could do. From curing illness to just adding flavor to food, they were a handy tool. Unfortunately for her, she did not have the means to fully learn about the power of the plant life until she met Kalerlūa. Kalerlūa told her that she knew someone who was extremely skilled in herbs and medicine, and if Kalthrān joined her pack, she could introduce her to him, and in return she could offer her herbalist services to the pack. Kalthrān gladly accepted, eager to get to work.

When she was getting up in the years, finding it more difficult to forage but still desiring to help the pack, Kalthrān retired from the herbalist profession and took up pup teaching.
