Danger leaped onto the large rock, his Black pelt shone in the moonlight. he was lonely, there was no denying it. he had searched high and low for a mate or a friend, someone to keep him company, but he was always alone at the end of the day. his heart ached as he looked up at the moon. he sat down, and let out a mournful howl. 		westley

Pocket realized she had lost sight of the river hours ago and was now, truly, lost. She and her sisters had been scouting some new territory and silently split up to do some hunting. They were planning to meet up later. The two larger sisters had ran off deeper in the woods, while Pocket had crossed the river chasing a young deer. The deer had got away, leaving her in a patch of the forest where looked unfamiliar. The only howl she could hear was mournful and foreign to her.

Pocket came up to a clearing, her paws not breaching the threshold of the denser plant life. Her fur would be highly visible in the bright moonlight. She could see a much larger male on the rock in the clearing, but didn't dare move. If he was aggressive, she could only hope to outrun him. Pocket kept her eyes on him. If he was distracted, she could certainly bolt. 		Heehoo 𓆏

he stopped howling. An unfamiliar sent hit his nose. A wolf, young, female, afraid. He could sense the fear pouring off her. "it's ok, you can come out. i won't hurt you" he whispered softly, without looking in her direction, trying not to scare her. 		westley
