All Glass & No Cannon Just another thing for me to do while I twiddle my thumbs waiting for progress on my other projects. A Side Quest, if you will. I'm going to try my hand at breeding a wolf or a few wolves with the lowest stats that I can. I am aware that a few others are breeding for low stats as well and from what I gathered, the lower the stats of the parent wolves means the less of a stat gap the pups will have in comparison.

The Plan The plan is pretty simple, really. Start with two NBWs and go from there. The idea is that pups will always have lower stats than the parents. So I think I will have to purposefully inbreed this lineage. Siblings paired with siblings... I shiver at that. Ew. (I realise this could still be done without inbreeding, however I do not have the space for many NBWs. Perhaps when I have more space and a better idea of how many generations it will take, I will revisit this quest with a different approach.) I was thinking I'll name everyone the exact same thing too, like just Wolf. A lineage tree full of the name Wolf. Heh. Using any of these wolves in a role would defeat the purpose of this project, so they will remain potatoes and do nothing but eat and play. |

Updates [March 28, 2022] I have the first two wolves of the project, these poor souls had no idea what they were getting into the moment they were persuaded to join my pack. I am waiting on that 7 to 8 Day Cooldown to pair bond and breed them. Hopefully they'll have at least 2 pups of opposite genders on the first breeding, just to make it easier on me.
[April 9, 2022] Somehow I managed to find an NBW with 215 stats today. Four pups have been born from the previous pair, two males and two females. I don't have a lot of space in my pack so I will only be keeping one female and probably chase away the parents once she weans. With 217 stats, it's not much lower than her parent's. Now to wait some more for her to age. 
[May 8, 2022] Finally 1 year old and I paired and bred them today, gotta wait 4 days. Chasing male. Resisting urge to farm for GC to get and use an instant birth feather. 
[May 16, 2022] I haven't been able to log in on some days. Pups been born like 3 days ago? I got another NBW pairbond and bred them. I'll likely breed their pup to one of the 3rd Generation pups. Not sure how much longer I can avoid inbreeding. This Female NBW is the lowest stat NBW I've seen so far, I think.
