Roles
Alpha- Leader of the tribe. This position is not granted by bloodline but instead given to the strongest and most cunning wolf. Most alphas don't make it past 5 due to the high demand of this role.
Beta- Second in command. Acts as the alphas wingman and serves in their place if needed. The beta changes frequently but is generally more safe from challengers than the alpha.
Herbalist- Responsible for taking care of sick and injured wolves. The herbalist doesn't really have much power within the tribe but they are highly respected for their work.
Stud- Final member of the yoorrook. The stud is a highly respected male with unlimited breeding rights (outside of the alphas mate, whom he is not allowed to touch.)
Pupsitters- Wolves collectively responsible for caring for the future generation. Held in high regard and is a very respectable rank.
Scouts- Wolves who patrol the territory and manage its borders.
Hunters- Hunters are responsible for bringing home food for the tribe. They are all highly respected even above the scouts in some cases but rank lower due to the constant new wolves among their ranks and numerous population.
Subordinates- Wolves generally held in low regard. They help wherever needed but outside of that have no role. .
