NIB players?

What the hell is NIB, I hear you ask? No Inbreeding! Very simple I know, but I want to know if there are any other players who will go by that term because seeing how many users are from lioden, I'm assuming they will just adopt the term "clean breeding" on here.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with that, but it is a bit weird to me since clean breeding is also founded on the idea of not breeding to the descendents of specific lions, and there is no equivalent to that just yet!

How do others feel about this term? I like it quite a lot, and I think it would be nice to foster a more distinct community on wolvden. 

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I've seen this term be used on tumblr! Clarifying so nobody thinks I came up with it lmao

I've seen NIB used in several games. I much prefer it, as I dont see anything "dirty" about owning inbred wolves (or lions) when it's more of a player based challenge and doesnt effect anything negatively. Nothing dirty about it, just easier most the time. 

I prefer NIB too, it sounds nicer and it's also a much better descriptor of what it actually is than clean/dirty. I was thinking about being an NIB player for the challenge of it but once I have my breeding projects up and running we'll see how that goes :p

Phantom StarsX; I don't play many other breeding sims but that's interesting to hear! And yeah while I understand why inbreeding would make some people (myself included) uncomfortable, which if I remember correctly was one of the main reasons people would avoid it, it was a bit strange to see inbred lions or breeders be referred to as "dirty". I haven't really seen much of that on here though! But that's probably because no one has really gotten to that point just yet.

Val; I know 100% I'm going to stay a NIB player. I was considering maybe not being strict about it, but then I gave my wolves lore and it got way too weird for me lmao. Regardless, I hope your breeding projects go well!

I have played other games where I didnt inbreed my own wolves, due to story reasons, but I didnt avoid inbred wolves if I bought them or something, that's likely what I'll do here but we'll see. Theres games where I dont care and I probably still wont but only having NIB wolves is probably not going to be my priority, especially with how the Gene Mutations work.

But for some people that might certainly be a good challenge, I intend to try out for some of the random mutations myself, but NIB is just that to me, a challenge. It's what it usually was in some of the other games.

As for lioden... my goal in lioden is to try to do things within my own pride. So yeah... messy lines X) if that happens here too I probably wont care either but rn I dont really have a goal other then mutations :shrug:
