but it takes a lot of time for the energy bar to fill up! i guessed that hunting needs only 20% energy so its faster and can get random stats ,,,,, ?

Hunting exp depends on the biome you're in and what size trails you take. Since you're in the mountains, a starter biome, the hunts don't give that much exp.

But even in more challenging biomes, I find scouting to be a little faster. One scout gives a lot more exp than one hunt.

yes ok but if you want to count it that way then you have to put on consideration that hunting is every 30 min while scouting takes more time to generate the 100% to scout ..

If you want more data, I keep track of how quickly every wolf gets to level 20 in this topic. I have multiple scouts who have gotten to level 20 before 3 years old (Sambal is the fastest at 2y9.5m, but there are several more). By contrast, the fastest I've ever gotten a hunter to level 20 is 3y2m (Lebkuchen, Castleberry), and in both cases that was a wolf joining an established team with a very good stalker in a difficult biome. More commonly, my hunters are 3.5 to 4 years before reaching max level.

In a starter biome, it's likely that a wolf can hunt for his entire life and not reach level 20. For example (this is not my wolf but I found her on the "successful hunts" leaderboard), Mieruko is an elderly wolf with 1352 hunts and she's only level 18.
