Posted 2022-02-10 14:51:45 (edited) #660068 in a time and a place very different from ours... there was a land called merenthdor. humans were long gone. none of their technologies remained to pollute the planet. none of their selfish desires to upturn earth, killing her creatures and destroying their homes. instead of being bent to serve man, the earth grew on her own terms, and what she made, was beautiful. creatures of all different shapes and sizes lived together in harmony. a utopia of sorts. unfortunately... nothing seems to stay pure for long. though man had long since left this planet, the ink-black darkness he left within her cracks would creep up and taint the minds of those who drank from her waters. greed would never leave this place. species began to turn on each other. groups would fight over territory, food, water. a species affected most by this were the griffins. already vain by nature, the griffins quickly tore themselves into two groups, waging war over natural resources. they believed themselves to be the most deserving of the world they lived in, and soon, became just as greedy as the humans before them. now trapped in a centuries long battle for dominance, the two tribes, the ungo and the lomi, play a taunting game with each other, seeing which of the two will destroy themselves first. however, more of the darkness humans left behind is beginning to poison individuals, causing them to go mad, even turning on members of their own tribe. will the rival groups set aside their years of tension to help fix merenthdor? or will they also be consumed by the hate bubbling at the core of their world? we are a BRAND NEW, 15+ griffin roleplay server, rebooting after a failed launch, and reopen to the public on 7/18! merenthdor includes: - many roleplay channels! - detailed, constantly developing lore! - a friendly, growing community! we do NOT tolerate hate of any kind! - overarching server plot points and mystery roleplay events! your actions can and will have direct server-wide consequences! - most high ranks still open! - multi-step verification! we want our community to be safe from raids. - helpful staff willing to help with any questions you may have! - open for partnerships! does merenthdor sound like the place for you? come take a look and see! disboard ad!
