"Last I heard our leader planned to get us to coniferous forest before Sêr would take over..." Tawel mused quietly as she padded along behind the two.

At Whiteout's question Swnian hummed slightly, thinking over her answer. "I'm not a proper scout, Twyni and Peth are our offical scouts and Twyni says it's difficult. I'm not too bothered, I don't have anyone specific to come back to, tis pack wasn't my birth pack. I love it of course, but I don't mind being away for the day! Twyni, on the other hand, does enjoy it but doesn't like always being away. He's quite close with most of the hunting team, Tawel included! But his mate is Syniad and even though neither of them are home much he'd like to have more days off. If it's snowing or raining too much then he usually stays back but most of them time he does enjoy exploring." Swnian explained then laughed. "That felt like very much the same thing just over again." Tawel sped up a bit, moving closer to talk with them easily. "And as for the pack? It's wonderful. Fy's a wonderful alpha, she keeps the pack strong even if I think we always have too many pups running around... but we do well. She's managed to keep everyone fed by arranging our hunts, sending the scouts out, keeping the sitters up to date with pups... she's done well. Hopefully Sêr will do the same." She thought for a bit and continued eventually. "A lot of the pups go without sitters, especially if they're not needed within the pack or will simply be sent the bear and that often causes injuries and sometimes death but it keeps the pack from getting too overcrowded. It's useful, even if it's harsh. And all wolves are expected to have a good amount of range in hunting, scouting and herbalism even if they won't use it much." Swnian nodded in agreement, "It's certainly useful! I don't like it much but it has helped when you get injured away from pack. Pretty simple pack. What about your pack?"

The pair didn't mention "Chat" and the various deities that occasionally visited... that was Fy's story to tell. Or, Sêr's, given that Fy was getting older....

Whiteout had trouble trying to keep up with all the different names but was just glad these wolves were friendly and was happy to listen to what they both said. 'Hmm that must be stressful switching leaders. That's nerve wracking thinking about having to take a pack over and trying to keep it running smoothly. Asters the only lead I've ever known. The one before, she ran the pack well but wasn't that good of a wolf, so I hear. What are Sêr and Fy like anyways? ' He stopped running around, and slowed to a brisk walk beside the two other wolves. Trying to keep the collected items from falling out from under his chin. 'With Aster, the packs growing much bigger now! There's lots more wolves, but it's taxing on the hunters trying to keep them all fed.' (Little does whiteout know that the pack has now moved away for better hunting XD poor guy) 'Usually the older wolves have the bigger responsibilities, the rest just watch pups until someone in one of the hunt teams or a scout wants to retire. Not the most efficient but hey, it's pretty good. Then again I kinda like the slow life.' He chuckled as he shrugged. He sniffed the ground briefly and was happy to find the smell was stronger. They were getting closer! Then he could take a break, he was getting tired but didn't want to show it in front of the other two.

(So we gonna briefly add the raccoon to RP with for this encounter or just pass over it? :D)
(Lol and I kinda imagine 'chat' as like a secret gossip group the pack leaders go to when they need a break from running the pack XD)

(i think adding it would be cool! and that's pretty much it lmfao just with an added bonus of being spooky shdhsd and yeppp sêr's the new queen, fy passed on ro and now they're in the conif forest to try kill off some pack wolves lmfao)

"I think Sêr is our fifth lead. Both of us only knew of Fy and Sêr but there are some wolves that lived when our past alpha was still around." Tawel added. "And Fy's good. Getting older she's clearly getting softer, we are overrun with pups and young wolves, even adults with no role. Hopefully Sêr will be more controlled. Along with my team, we have a new one that just started as well as a third growing up. Most of the pack are pupsitters, we always have pups coming and going." She continued before Swnian pushed her voice forward. "We travel quite a bit! I don't know what Sêr will think of moving lots but she seemed to want to try stay in the same area." Swnian continued. Tawel checked the scent as well and was quite happy to find that yes, they were getting closer. Continuing through the various growths, she padded along with the group quietly. Swnian was quite happy yo keep talking, of where they lived and how the hunting was. Simple things but apparently quite interesting to her. The raccoon tracks became more visible and Tawel interrupted, "The raccoon is close. Maybe it can tell us where we are, how to get out."

Whiteout's ears perked up at Tawel's comment. He trotted forward toward the front of the group, getting ready to display the couple of items he had found. Maybe giving some stuff to it would make it friendly and more willing to talk. He had never talked with raccoons much so wasn't sure what to expect from them. They picked their way through a dense thicket of trees and bushes. Smelling the raccoon just on the other side. And wolf…? Yes he could smell a wolf up ahead too! He paused suddenly, wondering whether to continue, and now quite nervous for some reason. 'They were most likely trading with the raccoon too, and might be friendly' he reasoned with himself. "Besides, I only smell one wolf. whoever they are wouldn't pick a fight agains 3 others would they?' He could feel Tawel right up behind him, probably wondering why he had stopped he thought. After another second of pondering his decisions, he pushed his way through the last bit of bushes and laid his eyes on the two creatures. He almost dropped his things in shock, but frankly he didnt know what to be more shocked about. The raccoon, or was it a raccoon? He couldn't tell, it looked like a normal raccoon, albeit glowing, but it didn't have a face! It was looking at him with nothing but a skull for a head and glowing wispy orbs as eyes! But the other creature was a wolf he knew! He had talked with her a couple of times back when she lived in the pack with him. "…Eclispe?" He asked, dazed.

(Sorry about the wait again, i was typing a response, then left it to go do something and forgot derp! :P)

(don't worry about it!! <3)

Tawel watched as Whiteout paused and moved slightly closer, somewhat confused until the smell of another wolf became apparent. As they pushed through the bushes, Swnian started and Tawel blinked in surprise at the raccoon. Tawel recovered fairly quickly but Swnian clearly was not expecting it and sent a few worried glances between it and Tawel. The melanistic wolf was the second to look at the fourth wolf, clearly not having any clue of who she was and Swnian was the same. At Whiteout's dazed "Eclipse?" they both looked to him, surprised but not too worried. Surely 'Eclipse' wouldn't try anything... especially if Whiteout knew her.

The other wolf turned her head to look at Whiteout before gently cocking her head to the side with a puzzled expression. She stood that way for a few seconds, her eyes squinted in concentration, before she recognized him. 'Wait, Whiteout?' She asked, as she gave a grin. She walked over, carefully placing some shiny glowing rocks in a small pouch around her neck, before sniffing his pelt. 'Wow you were just a kid last time I saw you. You've grown up quite a lot!' She chuckled as Whiteouts tail started thumping on the ground in excitement. 'What are you doing here?' She questioned. Whiteout was quite overwhelmed with a sense of relief at seeing a familiar face in this strange place, and was having a hard time trying to calm down while he excitedly told her everything. 'Eclipse! This is incredible! Last I saw of you, you were heading to an allied pack! How are you? Wow those beads look awesome! Are those real flames on them? Oh wait- sorry, I just got here. I'm not sure how, I just sort of woke up here and I'm trying to find my way back home. Same with Swnian and Tawel. They don't know how they got here either. We found eachother and just decided to stick together. Then we went looking for a raccoon to see if it could help us out, then met you, and ...yeah.' He finally paused, out of breath. Eclipse, finally noticing the newcomers, looked them over with a guarded expression. They didn't look like anybody she knew in Asters pack. Whiteout looked at them in turn before hopping up again. 'Come meet them! They've been really great so far!' He yipped as he led a wary Eclipse toward them. 'Er, I don't recognize them from Asters pack. Are they new rouges she's taken in?' Eclipse asked as she padded toward them. Meanwhile the raccoon merely stood back and watched the entire exchange with silent unblinking eyes. It's head tilted in curiosity as it studied the wolves.

Tawel pinned her ears, muzzle wrinkling. "Neither of us are some rouge that an alpha has taken in." Swnian chuckled nervously and batted a paw in front of the hunter's face. "Ignore her, she's just... grumpy! I'm Swnian and that's Tawel, we're from the Devil's Oath pack. Fy Anwylyd is our Queen." Tawel huffed at the young she-wolf who was entirely too excited to be meeting someone new for her liking. But honestly, some rouge? That's as bad as comparing a wolf to a coyote. The Devil's Oath's best stalker didn't need to be compared to the lone wolves that had ruined so many neighbouring packs, trying to take over Fy's territory. Really. Swnian sent a scowl at her companion then turned back to Eclipse. "We met Whiteout here, we've been stuck for like... 3 days. How long have you been here?"

Eclipse raised her head slightly, taken aback by the veiled aggressiveness in the black wolfs voice, but more than prepared to defend herself. She opened her mouth for a retort but suddenly decided against it. She merely looked at Tawel with a measuring gaze before giving a distained sniff and turning toward Swnian. "I come here every lunar cycle. I stay for the last month that it comes around." She stated. "Usually only lunar wolf descendants or wolves whos fur have changed can come here, I've never heard about regular pack wolves making it through though. Both of my parents had special lunar pelts. I got mine from my mother, so I've always been able to come here." She pondered this for a little while before shrugging, unbothered by the mystery. "You're a little late for sightseeing anyways. Today's the last day the worlds are connected. We'll all wake up back at home tonight so I wouldn't stress too much about it." She turned to whiteout again "Hey since this is your first time here you should take advantage of it. Anyone hungry?" She asked as she looked at the three wolves.

(I'm guessing every lunar event is about 3 months in-game, idk lol! XD)

"Oh, we didn't come to sightsee or anything. We don't know why we're here either. But as you can probably see, I'm slowly become purple. Tawel has her flame which has been helping but the locals haven't seemed to mind me with a coat becoming purple." Swnian chuckled. "And I know I'm hungry! We've been hunting a bit but not being sure of what's edible I didn't want to experiment." Tawel huffed, not bothered. "I really don't mind, we've been surviving well enough here." She replied and Swnian frowned. "That's her trying to be grateful. I think. But if you have any idea of what to do to get food, I'd love to know!" Her tail started swishing happily.

(OMG I DIDNT SEE YOU RESPOND!! I'm so sorry! I was wondering why i didn't get any notifs for it in a while
also totally feel free to poke me if I take a while to respond in the future lol! So sorry!)

Eclipse turned, took a step toward Swnian and sniffed Her pelt. "Hmm, my father had similar fur color too, though I'm not sure how he got it. And I have no idea why your fur might be changing color either." She shrugged. She then turned and started walking the other way as she beckoned with her tail for the others to follow. "This land is very similar to ours, If you ignore the darkness and bioluminescence of everything. So everything you usually eat should be edible, but some stuff might taste different." She padded forward for a few more paces and looked up into the tree. Eclipse started woofing gently with her head craned upward to the treetop. Whiteout just stood there watching her curiously, staying mostly quiet through out her exchange with his new friends. After a few moments, there was a sudden rustling from one of the tree branches. The previously forgotten raccoon slid down along the trunk of the tree, pausing halfway up to observe the four wolves from its upside down position. Whiteout hadn't even noticed it's absence, but at the sight of it, got unnerved all over again, taking a nervous step back. It slid the rest of the way down the trunk, before coming up to Eclipse and sniffing her. It's movements eerily jerky and quick. Eclipse bent her head down to the little pouch around her neck and took out four lunar tears. "You got any squirrels? Probably four of em." She asked the raccoon as she set the tears down on the ground. Whiteout crouched down to peer at the glowing crystals, never having seen them, his eyes bright and curious. But just as quickly as they were placed down by Eclipse, they were scooped up by the raccoon, quicker than a blink of an eye. The creature buried the four gems into its fur, leaving whiteout wondering how it could do that or why he couldn't see them even peeking through the fluffy fur. Despite the skull for a face, Whiteout could have sworn he saw a little smile creep up around its toothy mouth. "Yesss squirrelsss…" It murmured in a deep husky tone. It's voice seeming to have an ominous echo and lingered in the air even after the raccoon had stopped speaking. It quickly turned around and with quick, lurching movements, scuttled back up the trunk of the tall pine tree. They all waited for a little while, hearing the occasional scuffling from above. After a short while, it scurried back down the trunk, rather clumsily now with the weight of four squirrels in its skeletal jaw. It quickly deposited them in front of Eclipse before standing back. Eclipse murmured a thank you to the animal before picking them up. She turned back and placed one squirrel In front of each wolf, nudging whiteout to make him stop gawking up at the tree. Him wondering if the raccoon stored all its stuff up there, how it must have gotten the big things up there, why he couldn't smell any of it, and the several other questions he had. "I don't have much in the way of currency here, and I'm not the best barterer, but these should hold us all off, for a little while at least." She stated as Whiteout was snapped out of his train of thought and bent down to give the small piece of prey a sniff.
