Ipads as a graphics tablet? Is it worth it?

Hey. I've been recently contemplating on getting an Ipad for a graphics tablet, as my laptop's colors aren't true to color and my art always looks super wonky on any other device that isn't my laptop. I know a bunch of people use Ipads, but I definitely cannot afford a new one. I'm debating on getting a G1-G4, preowned, as those seem to be in my budget, but I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with these and if it's even worth it? I'm worried about the lag and color accuracy mostly.

I absolutely love my ipad! Its what i do all of ,y digital art on. I use procreate which is ten bucks.
I would make sure you get a second gen pro. Having the pen charge automatically by sticking to the ipad is so handy.

And i think its only the pro that you can draw with? Might have to double check that, haha

Thank you SO much for your feedback! Do you happen to know which gen you have?

Mine is a second gen, 11". I love the size. And there are so many great cases with keyboards, or whatever you need for them. I used to use Wacom, but this is just so handy. And now with programs like Nomad, i can even digitally sculpt anywhere!
Plus procreate has animation and 3D painting now too!
