New Sunrises \|\| A Warrior Cats OC, Discord-Based RP
Posted 2020-10-20 19:28:18 #61699 New Sunrises Many moons ago, before the clans, and before even the knowledge of starclan, lived two groups or cats, living amongst each other in the golden plains. Many cats may have known them as Sunclan and Moonclan, but their real names, only known by the oldest souls of starclan were Sunrise Camp and Moons Rock. Ranks to them were unknown, and the groups only lived to survive. They held no knowledge of herbs, or their ancestors' guidance… Until one day a plague swept across the two groups of ancient cats. This mysterious sickness threw the cats into despair and chaos, nearly fighting for any sign of untainted prey, or medicine they could find. The wars had seemed to carry on for moons, until the two groups were nearly extinct… Until one fateful night, in the warmest season, a strange spirit visited the two camps. The spirit claimed to know the cure to their ailments, and how to continue their bloodline, and prosper amongst each other. The cats were hesitant at first, and had nearly rejected the strange spirits offer, until 4 brave souls had stood before them. These 4 cats were chosen to select a small group of trusted friends, and settle in new homes, and with each step they made towards recovery, the spirits would reveal their secrets to only the most loyal cats. These were later made into medicine cats, and taught the ways of herbs and prophecy telling. The strongest would be made into leaders, and given nine lives, after completing nine trials in the valley of the great oak. These groups were made into the clans we know today Pineclan, Oakclan, Birchclan, and Mapleclan, named after their home to respect the trees and the shelter they gave. Over years, stories had changed, and traditions faded, but one story will always stay true to clan cats who worship starclan… The sun will always rise again with a new dawn. Some say that the spirit returns every 1000 seasons, to bring new knowledge to the clans, but alas, only time will tell if it rings true... It has been many, many moons since what cats have dubbed as “The Great War”, A battle between those who devote themselves to starclan, and those who were devoured by the mist and its malicious intentions. Details have been lost to time, and the names of the brave warriors fighting for their clans have been forgotten… but 200 moons later their spirits live on, and whisper to the warriors of the new generation… “The mist aims to take the dawn”.
