Vanya felt her body growing hot in embarrassment. She felt stupid as if she was supposed to know that the other canine did not wish to harm her. How pitiful she must look, unable to stand despite being a fully grown wolf. She scoffed slightly at herself, moving her gaze away from the stranger. She searched for anything else to look at, instinctively flinching away when she took a step forward, although she immediately calmed herself. "Ok. Thank you..." She said softly, her efforts to lift herself ceasing and she sighed quietly.

Eventually she turned her gaze back to her unlikely companion. "Well what's your name?" She tried to break the awkward tension she had already begun to feel hanging around the air. She rolled onto her side, exposing her stomach in a sign of submission, somewhat still unsure of Crow's intentions. She sat in a moment of silence, feeling awkward and she quickly rolled back onto her stomach, laying her head on her paws once more.

Vanya turned her gaze briefly to Crow, seeing a bit of movement coming from her face. She felt something fall beside her, noticing her mask was laying in the grass. Her gaze scanned over the stranger's face, noticing her horrible scarring. Her face betrayed her, pity crossing her features as she began to ponder what happened to the canine. She nudged the mask closer, assuming she would like to put it on rather quickly. She turned her attention away, figuring it would be a rather touchy subject and she didn't want to ask about it. It doesn't seem like something you'd like to tell a complete stranger about.

Crow offered a small grin, only to realize it was not able to be seen. That was one of the downsides to the mask - not being able portray emotions on her face, rather only by tone or body language. It immediately turned to a frown and she felt only sheer disappointment. "Yeah.. it's no problem.." She huffed softly, gently digging her claws into the earth beneath her. She cast her gaze towards the sky, tilting her head back slightly so she could see better out of the mask. The sky appeared to be blue, but it was hard to tell, since she was looking out of tinted lenses. Crow lowered her head again and glanced down to the ground, staring at the marks her claws had left in the dirt. She had tore up the grass with no effort at all, and without even realizing it. When she heard the stranger speak again, she perked her ears forward so she could hear slightly better. "My.. my name?" She paused for a second. 'Real or fake name?' Crow thought to herself before finishing her sentence.

"Crow. Uh.. w-what's your name?" Crow mentally swore at herself, rather embarrassed by her stuttering. She didn't even know why she was still talking to this wolf, most of the time conversation didn't last very long. Unless she was talking to the mice, the mice always seemed to listen to her, whether they were dead or alive. They were her only friends, but she often accidentally crushed them with her paws and then became upset for weeks about it. They couldn't talk, but she felt safe venting to them because they didn't judge her. She quietly watched as the dame before her exposed her stomach, causing Crow to grow slightly nervous. Suddenly she turned her head to the side, not realizing that tiny force was enough to make her mask come off. Her vision had become normal again and she could breathe better, which she enjoyed for a second before beginning to panic. It was already too late, her face had already been seen.

Crow glanced at the wolf for a second, a sorrowful looking crossing her face. She then grabbed the mask with her paw, quickly slipping it back over her head. This time, she made sure that the straps were extra tight to avoid something like that happening again. "I'm sorry you.. had to see that. I know my face isn't a very pretty sight." She lowered her ears and tried to avoid looking at the dame so she wouldn't get even more embarrassed than she already was, but it was too late. Her body was already beginning to heat up, causing her to grow rather uncomfortable.
