Shadegrove Pack

This is a place for me to personally keep up with lore and ideas for my pack!

SUMMARY——————————————————————————————————————————————————

Shadegrove pack is a newly formed group located in a deciduous forest just beyond the mountains. The pack follows strict succession and hierarchy laws set by the founding leader, Valencia.

SUCCESSION LAWS  ———————————————————————————————————————————

🍁 LEADER 🍁

The pack's heir has to be the offspring of the leader, the opposite gender of the current leader, and the strongest out of all the pups ever born.

The current leader is a female, so her successor will be a male.

The only way the heir is not the offspring of the leader is if they have no pups of the opposite gender. Strength will still matter. If the leader does have eligible pups, it's preferable if the heirs parents are the leader and their mate.

If there are multiple pups of the opposite gender, the strongest one will be the heir. This may change if a stronger pup is born.

🌱 HERBALIST 🌱

The pack's future herbalist has to be the offspring of the current herbalist be the smartest or wisest of the eligible pups. The gender does not matter and can be the same as the Herbalist.

💫 SCOUTS💫

The pack's future scouts have to be the offspring of either scout, and can be from the same litter. (Ex. One scout can provide both future scouts)

One scout has to be a male, and one scout has to be a female. Both the pups have to be the smartest or wisest out of the other males or females in the litter.

💘 BREEDING MALE 💘

The breeding male is also in charge of providing offspring for the pack and other packs that may request his services.

The breeding male will only be available for studding after he and the a pack member have a llitter together.

Hunters and Pupsitters do now need to worry about succession laws.

With the help of Tala, Valencia founded Shadegrove Pack in the deciduous forest on the last day of winter. Her best friend, Darla, was by her side to help with this new journey.

While Darla went to hunt, Valencia befriended 5 more wolves throughout the day:

Amazaia, Lindotho, Cralum, George, and Athena

George and Athena quickly fell for each other.. and they had 2 pups, both male. Of course Valencia loved puppies, but it would be hard for the starting pack to feed themselves as well as two more growing wolves.

Darla came back unsuccessful with her hunt,, but was assigned Lindotho and George to lead hunts with. Cralum and Amazaia became the pack’s first scouts while Athena stayed in camp to care for her newborn pups.
