The Followers of the Arcana

The story goes that Blair heard the playful laughter of the Magician as it talked to the Moon, but it wasn't them who granted her their blessing but the High Priestess. She sought to organize the Followers under one leader, a leader that will be elected by the Arcana and a pack where they could spread their power and word.
Blair has lived in solitude for most of her life, she only sought out the comfort of the Arcana and their teachings, once the High Priestess gave her message was when Blair found the importance in unification. She is the first leader of the Followers, and the first wolf to be granted the blessing of the High Priestess.

Ruling of Blair

She is strict, not very kind to those outside of the Followers, the agreement between Coruscate[#19563] and the Followers of the Arcana is a topic still debated upon despite a decision being taken place. Some of the Followers resist the alliance while others welcome them.
The Hierophant introduced itself as a common wolf, his mothers part of the Cups. Silver taught him to care and heal, Basil taught him to teach and hold his ground. No one is sure how the Hierophant managed to become part of Oregano, but his leadership and gentleness help ease Blair's worries. They became mates and have a daughter named Brook, she's of major blood and yet she holds no special energy that suggests the addition of a major arcana. For she was born during heat, she is part of the Rods.
The Hermit joined the Followers, his gaze is full of wisdom and yet he treads slowly and with a head low. He is the one that encouraged the alliance.
A young light furred she-wolf has made herself known. Her presence felt among the Followers, but never fully showing herself.  She is peace and balance, she is Temperance in the body of a young wolf. Muriel and Angel are close, Muriel cares for her as a father, Angel views him as her mentor.
A mischievous wolf with powerful energy has joined the Followers, the Magician has made themselves known. They give cheerful guidance, and their intelligence for the elements makes them respected.

DYNASTY.

12/18/2021, Basil has proven her worth to the pack, she has grown old and its time to let her enjoy her life peacefully. She's been retired to the Pentacles as the Queen of Pentacles.

12/25/2021, Basil has departed. Silver grieves the death of her mate but she knows that Basil left this world without regrets or remorse. She cared for many pups and taught Salem and Angel to care for the most vulnerable in the pack. The Hermit leads her soul to the realm of Death. Perhaps we'll see her again.

1/9/2022, Loki has departed, the pack mourns his death for he was one of the first Spirit Walkers. Blair grieves the death of her friend but accepts the fate. He cared for many and brought food for the pack. The Hermit leads his soul to the realm of Death. Perhaps we'll see him again.

1/22/2022 The High Priestess, Blair has left us. She guided the Spirit Walkers and unified them. She cared deeply for the pack, protecting it with a mother's grip. She managed an alliance with Coruscate, the first alliance of the Spirit Walkers. She was resilient, tough, leading the pack into exclusion from the rest of the forest. The Hermit leads her soul to the realm of the Major Arcana, where she'll rest among them. Her daughter, Brook, is now the leader of the Spirit Walkers. Oregano mourns his mate's death, Brook gives comfort to her father during these times.

Robin and Thanatos are mates.
Silver and Basil, two lovers who have taken many under their wing. Oregano, Salem, Celeste and Lupin were raised and taught by them.
Ovren and Rose Quartz are mates, they had two daughters Petra and River, however Petra died tragically for she was killed by an opposing pack. River brokenhearted and in grief finds comfort in Lupin.

The Magician.

The Magician has joined the Spirit Walkers. They are knowledge and the earth's elements. They are water, earth, fire, and air all in one. They are mischief and potential, they are the right hand of the High Priestess. They speak of strength, of teaching Blair to utilize her true power. He does so secretly, discretely, for they enjoy speaking in riddles.
A jokester this Magician is, but the arcana have brought down the power of the Magician onto Solas. Their magic flows freely, tuning into what others cannot see. They the magic granted by their Major Arcana to do their tricks,  but also to bring messages and bear the burdens of the pack along with Blair.

"How the Hermit convinced the High Priestess of the alliance"

"You cannot keep your knowledge locked away High Priestess." He spoke, glowing eyes looking up at Blair's olive ones. A huff, a tail swatting in annoyance as she turned her back on the Hermit. Muriel did not argue, the Hermit held a patience that was unimaginable. "Will you seclude yourself and your pack members because you think it's for the best?" He questioned.
"You have seen the selfishness of others, Hermit, you know how strangers view our world. With unease and caution, they hate what they don't understand and seek to destroy it."
Blair spoke from experience, the main reason the Followers didn't have a organized body was to avoid confrontation and the eradication of themselves.
"I have seen with my own eyes many things, Blair. I have also seen what ignorance does to wolves." At this, Blair turned abruptly ready to fight back and yet the eyes of the Hermit kept her quiet. "How do you expect those outside of the Followers to not fear you, when you hide yourself and turn back at the opportunity of clearing misunderstandings." Muriel never raised his voice, and yet Blair felt like a scolded child. "You aren't allowing the power of the High Priestess to flow, you're blocking her with your fear and paranoia. Let her guide you Blair." He paused "Your intuition is what's allowed us to survive, do not let anxiety overwrite that talent you have." Muriel bowed his head softly, he cape over his head covering his eyes even further, and turned away.
That night, when the Moon watched silently at the interaction, and the cold wind of winter ruffled the furs of both pack leaders a decision was taken place. The alliance would be done, and the packs will interchange information from both sides of the world.

"The Opposition (Aftermath)"

The Magician huffed, ears pulled back, tip of their tail flicking in annoyance. Brook anxiously paced back and forth, her paws hitting the ground seemed the be the only noise in the heavy, suffocating, silence. A bark in the distance, Temperance raised her head, watching with sadness as the pack divides. The wolves leaving being led by a red furred wolf, looking at their leader one last time before leaving behind the pack. Their figures decreasing in size until they were blobs of black on white snow.
The wolves that stayed grieved as they watched the others walk away. Mates separated, families left behind, this is all because of the Tower. Sage and River watched as their parents left, Lupin offering himself to River so she could lean on him. Thanatos did not stay to watch them leave, not wanting to witness his mate leaving him behind.
Temperance looked away from the pack and instead focused on Brook. Brook and the Major Arcana stood away from the rest of the pack, away from prying ears.
"We could've come to an agreement." Spoke Angel, eyes narrowing at Brook.
"The pest got rid of themselves, there is no point thinking what could've been done." The Magician sneered back, sitting straight, watching Angel. The two of them seemed to continue the argument, yet for Brook it felt like she was underwater. She felt the alliance was a good thing for the pack, the Crownless aided them, gave them food to survive the winter. But those that left took it as a ridicule. Muriel snapped at the two with a stare, stilling the wind and silencing the forest. The fox pelted wolf lowered their head and left back towards the pack, Temperance gave one last look at her mate, Brook, before leaving as well.
The Hermit looked at Brook apologetically, sitting next to the young wolf. The wind flew and so did his voice as it entered Brook's ears. "There was nothing you could do, they would've left anyways."
"Am I even doing the right thing? Am I dismantling all that my mother has worked for?"
The Hermit sighed, wisp eyes shining softly. The question remained in the air, left unanswered.
The time of the Tower, has begun.

Ruling of Brook

She is the splitting image of her mother, but unlike her she has a rebellious streak. She seeks to expand the Spirit Walkers, to not confine them in the depths of the forest, making them strangers to others. No, she wants others to know of their existence, to acknowledge the Spirit Walkers. She holds deep respect towards the Hermit, she wants to follow the tips he gives. This doesn't mean however that she lets herself be carried away, for she is of Blair's blood and she is the one in control. Although not as a strong grip, Brook still makes most of the decisions in the pack as a leader.

DYNASTY.

5/29/2022- Silver has proven her worth to the pack, she has retired and will be known as the Queen of Pentacles. She will teach the young her skills

Brook gave birth to three healthy pups, born during the hottest day of summer they shall be trained under the guidance of the Rods. Dun is quiet, but a trickster at heart. The Magician enjoys Dun's sneakiness and his sassiness, enjoying riddles and pranking others. Icarus is focused, centered on training and becoming stronger, believing he can be of help to the pack. The Hermit tends to calm him down when he gets upset he can't do more for the Spirit Walkers. Valkiria is much more active than her brothers, and that is something that aggravates her.

9/20/2022- Thanatos was now at the age where he could be retired as the King of Pentacles, however with a soft nudge at Brook he refuses the honor. Preferring to wander, perhaps find his old mate Robin. Brook understands, the pack watches him go, there is no sadness as all wish him a safe journey.

The Hierophant is old now, his connection to the Hierophant lessening as the days pass. He has taught his apprentice Vega the rules and the skills to help and heal the pack. Brook spends more time with her father, enjoying the little time they have.

10/21/2022- Oregano has passed, the Hierophant has aided the pack and healed the wounds of many. Brook and her children stay beside him as he passes, a satisfied look in his face. The Hermit shall guide him to meet his mate Blair once again.

11/10/2022- Perla, one of the Spirit Clans most trustworthy hunter has passed. The Followers mourn her death, The Hermit's face is fallen, his eyes downcast as he mourns along with the Followers. He takes her soul and guides her to the realm of Death, he wishes to hopefully see her again.

11/10/2022- Lupin has proven his worth to the pack, he has retired and will be known as the King of Pentacles. He will teach the young his skills

11/20/2022- Lupin has passed, his mate River and his children mourn his death. The Hermit shall guide him to the realm of Death.

11/26/2022- The Magician and Temperance have passed. Brook mourns the death of her mate, Angel helped her through the darkest times in the pack and together raised Dun, Valkiria, and Icarus. Their children mourn along with their mother. Dun mourns for both her mama and the Magician, who played along with him in his pranks and taught him so much. The death of two Major Arcanas will be felt in the pack. Muriel guides them both to the realm of Death, united with the other Major Arcanas who have passed. Before saying goodbye, Solas brings forth his concern for the Spirit Walkers, and the chaos that will soon fall on the pack. Muriel nods and will keep an eye out for any changes within the forest.

12/17/2022- Brook has passed, Valkiria and Icarus mourn the death of their mother, yet Dun seems unfazed. Expecting the arcana to call upon one of Brook's kin to be the next leader, Dun steps up. The Tower looks down at the pack, claiming that the time for chaos has come, and is time to embrace it. Dun's chaos calls forth Mephisto, the Devil, as the Arcana reveal the restricting and dangerous card of The Devil. The Hermit disapproves, but the cards have spoken and he cannot go against the words of chaos himself. Dun, who is blood of Brook, turns Mephisto into the new leader of the Spirit Clans.

ERA OF THE TOWER.

The Tower in the Arcana represents destruction, failure, chaos, the end. The first Tower occurred before the unification of the Spirit Walkers. Blair attempted to prevent another Tower period by secluding the pack and hiding them from danger. Blair didn't expect that her daughter would be the one to suffer through the Tower. A lack of food were the first signs, followed later by sickness, the pack's hope held by thin strings. The winter came and things will get worse before they get better.

The Crownless Alliance

A pack led by the winter season made itself known, ruled by an elder wolf named Aconite. They are resilient in the winter, strong fighters and hold deep connections to their ancestors. Although not actually seeking for an alliance, Brook saw this as an opportunity not only to get aid during the winter, but also to expand her pack's wings. Aconite viewed the inexperience yet determined Brook and decided on the alliance.

The Opposition

The ruling of Brook had its rejections. Many of the wolves within the Spirit Clans disliked the idea of being known by others, believing it will bring danger as well as destruction to the pack. This opposition took action the moment Brook formed an alliance with the Crownless, a pack that during the winter seasons make themselves known. Robin and Ovren disliked this idea the most, they viewed the young leader as weak. The fact that the Spirit Clans formed an alliance made them open to disputes with other packs, increasing the chances of another Tower. Brook however, believed that the alliance made them approachable, but also made them strong for if any issue came forth their allies would help them. The first batch of wolves left, guided by Ovren and Robin.
Ovren's mate, Rose quartz decided to stay, same with Robin's mate Thanatos. The major arcana had a meeting with Brook, the Magician was glad they left, saying "The pests rid themselves, we don't have to worry anymore." Temperance disliked the fact that Brook let them go, believing an agreement could've been reached. The Hermit however, knows that no matter what they would've left either way.

Child of the Tower

The cataclysms is a sign of the presence of the Tower, nature is groaning and life is suffering through stages of destruction and change. Dun hears this, understands it, and embraces it. He watches his siblings grow, he watches them hate the changes and the destruction, believing it to be a crime towards all that is living. But Dun sees the destruction as part of life. One cannot prepare for unforeseen changes, there is o point in wasting energy for that. Dun feels his major blood thrum at the crisis the pack goes through. His siblings look at him weirdly, when he believes the cataclysm will bring more than just the Tower. The tarot has spoken, the power of chaos is held in the paws of the young Dun, the Tower has joined the pack

The Devil

Mephisto was welcome to stay for a bit and, while hesitant at first, he managed to blend himself into the pack. The Hermit remains silent, watching him carefully, while Dun attempts to become closer to him.
On a New moon, the sky dark and only lit by the stars, the Hermit decides to do a reading on the new wolf. The Devil reveals himself in the dreams of the Hermit. He does not bring up with information to Brook, wanting to wait and see what the new wolf brings.
Dun, knows he is the Devil and knows the chaos he will bring.

"Child of the Tower"

Its Icarus and Valkiria who voice their concerns to their mama. Temperance is nudging pups into their beds, hushing them to sleep to allow their mothers some rest. Light eyes look back at her two adolescents and sigh, "What is wrong with your brother?"
"Everything!" Valkiria barked, receiving furrowed brows from Angel at the loud tone. The young she-wolf lowered her ears apologetically. "He's been acting strange, putting less effort on his training and simply being weird." Icarus stepped in speaking in a much more softer tone to avoid upsetting his mama. Temperance softly shakes her head. "You are all growing, its normal for moods to change. Besides, Dun always does good during his hunts."
"That's because I step in whenever he messes up." Huffs Valkiria, rolling her eyes. "He's always distracted and the cataclysms are messing everything up."
Angel nodded, truly this era of the Tower seems to be a tough one, yet she did not live during the first Collapse so she wouldn't know if this Tower is the worst. 
"Mama, Dun is always daydreaming, sometimes we loose sight of him." At this Angel perks her head up. "Lupin always manages to find him, and the Magician always reprimands him." Steps in Valkiria hoping her words ease her mama's shock. It doesn't.
"Does your mother know about this?" Both younglings look at each other, silence. "What about the Hermit, what is his opinion on this?"
"He doesn't have one, or at least I never heard him... The wind stills more often lately, I think the cataclysm is affecting even the isolate." Angel nods, clearly she needs a meeting with her mate. "Anything else?"
Icarus and Valkiria look at each other once again, heads lowered debating who will say the next words. The two stare at each other, not blinking, until Icarus's eyes sting and he finally blinks. Leaving the burden of saying the next words to him. Icarus sighs
"Dun said something that concerns us."
Angels nods for him to continue.
"He says... The Devil is coming."

Ruling of Mephisto

No one had expected this, the pack is in deep shock. Mephisto has no control and no rule over the pack for he is not related to the High Priestess, in fact, his blood naturally goes against her. Yet Dun, the quiet yet cunning brother of Icarus and Valkiria managed to use his connection with Brook and place Mephisto in power. The Tower stripped away the ability of the Hermit to go against this by naming himself Mephisto's guide.

DYNASTY.

The union between The Devil and The Tower was just as unexpected as Mephisto taking power over the pack. Dun's brother and sister feel betrayed by this, not because they care about who their brother wishes to love, but because Mephisto is the Devil and has stripped away the order of the Arcana to his favor. They don't know what Dun has planned, but it can't be good.
