The Wolves of Wapiti Run Lore and Daily Journal {read only - UPDATED}

Today, Dioute, the founder of the Pack, has joined his mate Appalachia and passed on. He leaves his Pack in the paws of young Nanoak and her mate, Saunee. Her council of wolves includes her chosen packmates, Ahke the herbalist, Kdago and Allegewi as the head scouts, Ayu and Thao as the lead hunters, and Saunee as the head pupsitter. Relations among Wapiti Run wolves and the Elk Herd have remained strong, and Nanoak plans to continue the allegiance with the Shenandoah Pack to the south. Though young, Nanoak has pledged a determined loyalty to the Wapiti Run wolves. She has named the spring season as a time of remembrance for the Pack's founder and his mate, as well as all others who have gone before them.

A young she-wolf was found named Aosi, who was searching for her brother and got lost in a spring storm. Thao took care of her and brought her back to the Pack. It was revealed later that the she-wolf's brother had died and she was denying it to herself. Thao has offered her a place in the Pack and the two have grown close in the following days.
