Zylash turned to look at Adrian with disappointment, controlling the brief flash of blue in his cerulean eyes. His anger issues still had some remaining shreds even after all those years. You do not sneer at potential allies or their friends, he thought. Zylash twisted his neck and replied to Dimitri, "It's fine. It is not my business, and I have no wish to...", Zylash glanced at Adrian with contempt, "intervene. Talk with Kai." as I don't want to associate with entitled prats, Zylash thought.

"Oh no Zylash, I don't want anything to do with them right now. If you want to go I'll gladly go with you." Kai said to his roommate. "I'm sure that if Adrian, wasn't it? That sounds right, I'm sure Adrian can speak with me later. I really don't think it's a life or death situation so it can likely wait. Right?" He continued, tired and really just wanting to go back to reading. "We can even go meet at that cafe later, Flying Feathers or whatever it's called, they make amazing drinks, but I usually go most mornings. You can speak with me then. But for now, Zylash needs to sleep and I want to read."

Dimitri watched with curious eye's. " I'll see you at noon. " Adrian said. He turned and shifted to his phoenix form, letting Dimitri tack him and fly off. He flew toward's the plaza, where Rose was waiting. Noticing Adrian's disturbed state she sighed. " One of those day's? " She asked. Dimitri nodded, getting pecked by Adrian. " We better start looking for that cafe. " Adrian cawed and Dimitri climbed on, helping Rose up. " Never get's tiring. " She muttered shifting to hold on to his waist. Adrian looked back and flew off, gliding above the plaza. Dimitri and Rose watched the cafe's, searching for Flying Feather's.

Zylash waved, and flopped on his bed. Ahhh the fluffiness. Shame I won't be able to fall asleep again, he thought. "Gonna go for a fly in the mesosphere, will be back at 11 or so. Sigh... I'm gonna need to go to the cafe with you guys for coffee. Otherwise I'm gonna be tired all day. Annoying pricks..." Zy sighed, glancing tiredly at Kai.

"You don't have to stay there, you can just grab a coffee and go. I'll see what they want then probably just leave, I highly doubt there's anything decent for me there." Kai replied, moving to his room and finding a pair of shoes to put over his socks. "Just call when you're ready, or I can try get it delivered? Don't know if they do that..." He mused, grabbing a wallet and keys and other essentials.

"Nah, I kinda want to come now. You know my curiosity. Besides, I don't like the Adrian dude so much, if he's up to something an extra person would be helpful." Zylash said, stretching his arms and letting out a yawn. He went into his room and changed quickly, tossing on some casual clothes, and shoving his essentials into his pockets. Glancing at his hair, he combed it quickly, so it didn't look completely like a bird's nest.

"Alright then. You want to fly or walk?" Kai asked, prepared to either open or lock the door. He looked over after he retied his shoes suddenly realising it was getting loose. "I'm pretty sure it's wide enough for us both to land, it's a big enough square."

"Eh, probably fly. It's pretty warm, so we could probably just ride the updrafts. And I just don't feel like walking." Zylash replied, while checking his appearance one more time. It wasn't his fault that he met Adrian and Dimitri with bed-hair, but still. He jumped out the balcony, opening his wings, and stretching them fully, before circling back and landing. "Ready when you are!", Zylash called.

Rose shouted and pointed down at the cafe. " There. " Dimitri nodded and leaned up to tell Adrian. Adrian pecked at him and dived down, Rose shouting on his back. Dimitri clutched the 'reins' strongly, sstaying on Adrian's back. Adrian landed on the ground lightly, letting Dimitri help a stunned Rose of his back. Adrian waited until the tack was off before shifting and leaning against a lightpost, a smirk on his face. He watched Dimitri try to calm her down, who was yelling about the danger's of Adrian's flight choice's. Dimitri gripped her arm's lightly. " Calm down. " He said. She nodded and played with her hair. Dimitri turned and nodded to Adrian. Dimitri turned and spoke with Rose, who decided to do far guard. Dimitri nodded and stood beside Adrian.

Kai shifted and leaped into the air, a trail of fire flickering along his tail and wings. He let out a caw, settling into the form before slowly making his way into the closest air current, getting ready to lean into the warmth and then tip down into the square.
