is there interest in markingless wolves?

im not super hard into breeding atm so im not super well versed in whats desired and whats not. i was wondering if theres any interest in wolves that have absolutely no markings or if nobody cares about them?

the thought i had- correct me if im wrong, this is just my thought process on it- is that if you have a wolf with no markings, they cant pass on markings to their pups (unless they carry something recessively i think), so theyd be a pretty blank slate and good chance for getting that base or the combination of that + the other parent's base, right? so does anyone value empty wolves, or are they just the duds of wolvden?

im mostly asking because i have a markingless wolf (gold darker/warm medium I, so as far as i know theres not any hype for his base but still) and might not keep him and wanna know if itll be worth putting him up for trade later or if i should just chase him off. thanks for any info!

I like blank wolves! Love them when I'm being very particular about the look I want.

I haven't observed the breeding scene enough to know what's desired yet either, but I think a blank slate is amazing if somebody wants to only pass on the other parent's markings, as you said. I imagine the most important aspect would be the blank wolf's base. In my opinion, your potential stud's base would make great with a dame that has light + cream markings. I prefer blank wolves when trying to pass on markings.

Don't feel that you have to chase him off if you definitely want to breed him. There's a stud for everybody.

I love blank wolves. My lead wolf only has one marking. And I seem to keep befriended wolves that have no markings at all. One good thing about blanks is that you can add custom markings later if you like.

I love blank wolves or wolves with 4 or less markings especially when Im trying to go for the "natural" wolf look

I don't particularly care for wolves without any marks at all, but I don't like wolves with so many marks that you A) can't see what their actual base looks like and B) you can't see all of the marks because they overlap so much. Some of the Tier II bases that have a lot of natural variation (ie Jacinthe) I really like to see blank so you can actually enjoy their coloring.

Personally, Im trying to breed for a markingless high tier pack. People apparently like blanks for breeding to one specific wolf, or if they want a blank slate to customize. (My reasons are 'Ooo pretty bases' but still)
