Update 4! Render and Color tests!





I'm gettin a little ahead of myself, but I had to see if something worked and it did! I also figured out how to make the hair tufts blend with dragon parts so that's another hurdle I know how to jump when I get to it. This linework is not finished and still needs to be refined, but its coming along.

Thank ya'll who have been checkin my stuff out as I go along and leaving comments! It really does keep me energized for this project :D

YO THIS IS LOOKING SUPER SICK!! I love the dark iridescent one the most personally, it reminds me of beetles and grackle feathers and would look super pretty on a foresty background :D

0: i agree the black/iridescent version is really nice !
also I don't have any but the ice blue one would look great on an opal wolf
if it's still in the works a dark purple/blue gradient could be nice for the event bases!

Half Dragon/Half Wolf - Puppy to Sentinel + Lethals Custom Decor Project

Update 5! Sentinel Pose



I finally got around to getting back to this project after finishing up some commissions and decided to work with one of the most dynamic poses- and then ended up going all the way and finishing it up.



Cleaned up the sketch, fit the decor lines to the official art, filled in the colors and decided each decor will have 3 colors in all, so each one is on its own layer and can be recolored easily.



HECK YAH
Currently the shading layer is a gray set to multiply and the lighting is a light gray set to overlay. I think i'm going to color the shading to fit the color more closely when I get close to finishing up a whole set to make it look better.

I then also went ahead and had some fun with some other possible color combinations!



And of course Melanistic and Albino!

this is also a way for me to test how these look on more complexly colored wolves

I'm going to sit on what i've done for tonight and stare at it for approximately 3 hours and make a plan to refine some spots later.

I absolutely need the blue/orange, green, purple, and melanistic ones. Maybe Adult or Adolescent next? Adult will probably be the most commonly bought (next to Sentinel).
