Juniper Berries Project/Test!

Anybody and everyone, feel free to comment with your own attempts at muted pups!

BRAIN DUMP: Soon, when I have enough SCs, I plan on going on a Juniper Berry spree to lower the fertilities of my females and test if they heighten the chance of mutations in a litter. I do not have a solid stud in mind, (nor do I have a preference on the base), and do need to recruit some more female wolves. My aim is to heighten my chances at mutated puppies as much as possible, then breed them in the future to create a lineage. I've bought GCs for Elk Hearts and IPDs!

GOAL LIST: 

• Purchase Juniper Berries
• Recruit more female wolves
• Find studs
• Breed up to a II base
• Inbreed any muted wolves.

FIRST TEST - RUBY:

• Ruby was given two Juniper Berries. Her fertility was lowered to 4%.
• Fertility went back to the regular 24%, no bugs encountered. 
• 0 mutated pups.
• 3 I bases. 1 base rarer than 1%. 

SECOND TEST - MARY:

• Mary was given one Juniper Berry. Her fertility was lowered to 8%.
• Fertility went back to the regular 18%, no bugs encountered. 
• 0 mutated pups.
• 2 II bases, 1 I base. 2 bases rarer than 1%. 

THIRD TEST - THEODOSIA:

• Theodosia was given an uncertain amount of Juniper Berries. Her fertility was lowered to 1%
• Noticed a bug, her fertility is now spiked up to 127%, was reported. 
• 0 mutated pups.
• 3 I bases. 1 base rarer than 1%. 

FOURTH TEST - AMARA:

• Amara was given five Juniper Berries. Her fertility was lowered to 1%. 
• Noticed a bug, her fertility is now spiked up to 127%, was reported. 
• 0 mutated pups.
• 4 I bases. 2 bases rarer than 1%. 

FIFTH TEST - LISA:

• Lisa was given six Juniper Berries. Her fertility was lowered to 1%.
• Noticed a bug, her fertility is now spiked up to 129%, was reported.  
• 0 mutated pups, but 1 infertile female pup.
• 4 I bases. 4 bases rarer than 1%. 

SIXTH TEST - LETITIA:

• Letitia was given three Juniper Berries. Her fertility was lowered to 16%.
• Fertility went back to the regular 46%, no bugs encountered. 
• 0 mutated pups.
• 4 I bases.

SEVENTH TEST - LUNA:

• Luna was given one Juniper Berry. Her fertility was lowered to 5%.
• Fertility went back to the regular 15%, no bugs encountered. 
• 0 mutated pups.
• 2 I bases.

EIGHTH TEST - TILLIA:

• Tillia was given one Juniper Berry. Her fertility was lowered to 1%. 
• currently pregnant  

NINTH TEST - RUBY:

• Ruby was given three Juniper Berry. Her fertility was lowered to 1%.
• Fertility went back to the regular 27%, no bugs encountered.
• 0 mutated pups.
• 1 II base, 4 I bases

Experimental young pups up for adoption immediately after weaning. Can negotiate all down, no lower than 25sc:

NOTE: Even if the pup is not listed for trade, they are open for negotiation! Base II pups will automatically run for at least 100sc. Pups with a base rarer than 1% will automatically run for at least 50sc. Scs are added depending on personal aesthetic tastes or the number of markings they have. Prices can always be negotiated down, but expect to trade for gcs if you want to lower a price below 100. <3

Interested to see this pan out. It would help to figure out exactly how random the random mutations are (as juniper berries only produce random muties)

@Plushigh, start purchasing Juniper Berries, use them on your females (preferably those that already have low fertility) until you get to 1% or as close as possible, impregnate them, and see what they produce! 

Ah! I'll try this with my 3 merle pup when she gets older. (Found out her fertility is 39%, so I'll need to get 3 juniper berries for her.) I'll see what she produces when she's old enough and in heat. I'll check this forum often to see what pups ya get!

I'm still following this thread. I'd participate if I didn't already have some projects going on myself.
