I started out in the Deciduous Forest (seems pretty popular). I moved to the Grasslands and then the Mountains, mainly because of the fishing game--the competition in Deciduous Forest was fierce for the leaderboards (and I wanted to see some of the other fish).
Then, I felt like my hunters were good enough to try a move to a more difficult location, so I took the cautious route and went to the Riparian Woodland. The pack eventually moved up to the Taiga which had been a goal for some time. However, with winter approaching and my best hunting team going through a transition time, I recently moved to the Prairie while the new kids get trained up and are ready to follow in their parents' footsteps and can handle the Taiga. Eventually I hope to have good enough hunters to be able to live comfortably anywhere, though the Taiga will likely always be a favorite location.
I started in the DF, like a lot of others. It was a good spot to be while my hunters were weak. They only needed 500+ stats to do well. I stayed there until my first lead was getting ready to die. Then I moved to the CF. My hunters struggled for a while until they got to 600+ stats each, then it got easier. Two leads later, I moved to the Taiga and that's my permanent home. My hunters struggled again for a while, but once they got to 800+ stats, things got easier. Now that they have 1000+ stats, they do well. If I go anywhere from here, it'll be the Tundra. But that wouldn't be for a long time. I suspect my hunters would need at least 1200+ stats just to scrape by up there. As you probably noticed, I prefer cooler northern biomes. It just feels more realistic for wolves.
Like many others, I started in the Deciduous Forest, and I recently moved to the Mountains. I have plans to permanently move my pack to the rainforest later down the road, however.
I started out in the Mountains and then moved to the Swamp as soon as it was unlocked because I basically speedran getting there LOL. I had my pack's swamp-themed lore planned out before I even moved here, and I don't intend on leaving, even if my wolves tend to starve every winter and can never find anything larger than a small trail on hunts. Worth it!
I started out in the mountains before moving my pack to the coniferous forest for a short while followed by the taiga. I've also lived in the prairie for a bit but I currently live in the glaciers and don't plan on moving anytime soon! C: i absolutely love it here lmao
I started in the Mountains, and that is where I still am. I so badly want to move to the Taiga - but my pack name is literally "The Great Smoky Mountains" ... sooo can't do that LOL
personally i started off in the mountains and my earliest goal was to move my pack all the way over to the glacier. proud to say i accomplished that quite a while ago, and despite being an icy wasteland, it's chock full of whale bones and walrus pup carcasses. im living the dream
